Daro its interesting your OPC has build dates but, it seems, few others have. My OPC has two cars but still no dates. I must admit I assumed most of our cars would be made when the factory returns from its August break
I agree and it's depressing he can't / doesn't have any 2016 build dates which is what I really want daro911 said:
My dealer is getting "FOUR" cars July build, Sept, October & mine the December build which I am trying to get pushed back to March 2016 so far with no joy - So 150 cars spread over 2015/2016 build dates should be doable
Wonder how your dealer has confirmed info on build dates as the OPC I am using only has confirmed that they will get 2 cars and that is it. Tried to find out more but nothing is being passed onto them.PeterB14 said:

My dealer saying two this year and none in 2016. Although given the lack of road test reports, I'm beginning to doubt that it actually exists at all!
My dealer had three slots, July/sept/Nov - apparently all dates now withdrawn and they're waiting for new dates to be confirmed.I'm beginning to wonder if the launch date of 1st April has some relevance!!

My OPC STILL hasn't received its Spyder allocation, or so I'm told....!! Very frustrating... Equally frustrating is the lack of ANY road tests, despite the cars apparently being spotted on streets around Europe...I am beginning to feel glad I declined a car - as no PDK option. Buying a new car - especially a Porsche - is meant to be a pleasurable experience. I would have been extremely frustrated by lack of delivery date by now. I am beginning to wonder if they have actually completed development yet!! It wasn't like this when I bought my 987 Spyder!
Someone has posted on the Planet 9 website that he has got a confirmed build date. That's in the USA but hopefully ours will follow shortly. Like others I would like to see a road test before I lock down my spec
Having had a good look at both on the Planet 9 and Rennlist sites it appears potential American buyers are being told there will be no availability of the light weight bucket seats, both for the GT4 and the Spyder. I now wonder whether that's the reason its gone all quiet.

I can't confirm if it's a smokescreen and mirrors job but originally he gave me a choice of September or October build and then recently confirmed he has a 4th build slot December which I said I would take for now in the hope I could get a March 2016 build eventually
The silence and lack of news might mean we all get a 2016 car PeterB14 said:

2016 Cars against hefty 2015 deposits too I feel like my money is funding the final development programme and as others have said not a single road test since launch WTF is going on at the HQ these corporate daysWG said:

This is nothing compared to the frustrations of the 991 GT3 wait. Those who baled lived to regret it. Anticipation is almost as good as realisation...I think!Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
