Just heard October build, 1st local OPC car of 2.
Is that a definite confirmation of build date?If so then I will be phoning my OPC about news of my build
Got the colour choice down to Guards Red or Speed Yellow(for the moment). Current car is Guards Red so it seems a little daft replacing one GR Spyder with another but can I really walk out to a yellow car every morning?
Then there is Agate Grey. I think it looks great in pictures - both on screen and printed but haven't been able to find it on a Boxster yet to see it in real life. I had dismissed it earlier but I now realise the Panamera I was looking at was NOT Agate Gray.
The wait isn't bothering me but as someone has said earlier, the wait heightens the excitement. I'm also lucky enough to have a Spyder already so can still enjoy the sun etc. I'm reasonably confident that the dealers don't like the 'not knowing' either because it's mainly them that are getting the bad press not Porsche.

Good luck with the search. What about any of those currently on PH - no good?

Still looking for a nice 987 with spyder wheels, buckets and stereo if anyone's in a position to seel - cash waiting ! Good luck to the 981 prospective owners - liking the sound of speed yellow personally !
