Snap! my new Cayman

Was a bit hesitant of the colour but love it now. Feels more sporty than all the conservative greys and blacks.

Cool, I didn't expect to see another so quickly smile The OPC where mine was sold to the previous owner said there were only 7 other Cayman S in this colour
Where abouts are you based?

A quick photo timeline of my Cayman, after 10 days of ownership and 3300 miles:

Arriving home

First day out

First European trip (Germany). The Capristo factory for new exhaust, dyno, and then onwards to Ring.

Bank holiday run out with friend

So far loving the car!

Love that interior! How are the buckets for getting out of the car? (I have trouble enough with the sports seats!)

Hehe good question, not great to be honest. I guess I have not found the right method, and it feels like a game of Twister each time I get out. I am also already starting to wear the seat bolster as I lean on it for support. Finally, the metal insert of the seat belt rubs against the seat and has already blemished the leather. I think these issues might be solved with technique and some simple covers.

Ah, were you at the tunnel last Thursday, UK side? I thought I recognised the car from the Pyrenees thread and I pulled up in the Spyder and was going to say hello but the Mrs was talking to me and by the time I'd shut her up you'd disappeared!

We were the Spyder, Evora and F430 parked near you and on our way for a blast in France.

The car looks great in the flesh although I heard it before I saw it!

Oh noes! That was me, I was desperate for the loo so ran off but wanted to say "Hi" as well. Loved your Spyder, best color ;-)

I did smile at the Fezza when they arrived but I think they thought I might be a sociopath (common observation tbh).

Tack, I am based in Cumbria. I have the dyno video from last week at Capristo, and some external/internal footage from general driving and flybys. The Capristo system (including manifolds) on full song is definitely the best sounding exhaust system I have had on any car. The 20 BHP bump is not bad either. I'll splice the videos together and upload to YouTube at some point. If you drop me a PM I will email you when the video is online.

Heh, who is "bareback" and what websites have you been surfing today ;-)

The wheels do provide a slightly harsher ride over the 20" OEMs. Although the new wheels are forged and are far lighter. With PASM its all good, normal mode is fine, but you better be on smooth tarmac for sports mode.
