I've been overdosing on 911's over the last few years and decided to go for a change & just purchased this, amazed how nimble & quick it feels compared to 911:

... by which time your garage will be empty because, for the first time in my life, I might just steal a car wink

Thanks, it's a late 2013 Cayman-S with less than 2k miles; it doesn't have sports chrono but it does have PSE which is nice. Was really worried about leaving the 911 camp but I'm really glad I went for it, and it's considerably cheaper than going for a used 991.

Stunning.
When these first came out I wasn't very impressed at all. Even less so after the 981 was revealed. But as time goes by the Spyder looks more and more special and the 981 more and more bland to me. Now I'm at the point where I look at those pictures and would prefer the Spyder over a new Boxster GTS.

I was very tempted to chase down a Spyder but relented in the end so I could spec a BGTS to my personal taste. If money was no option I would buy and keep a Spyder for sunny days and occasional trips, and for the likely future value. I DO think it is a beautiful car, particularly from the rear, however now owning a BGTS I do think it a worthy contemporary.

As always, personal taste, circumstances, use etc... Makes for interesting dialogue!

Getting some mileage out of that pic Cmoose!

Is the automatic brake differential (ABD) of any use?
