Buying 'summer' tyres for the 18s is a definite possility - although I do like having the winters mounted on a different set of wheels for ease of swap.I don't mind the looks on 17s at all - although I'm unsure how the Porsche Warranty would react to such a leftfield move to "non-standard" (for an 'S').

My 2007 Cayman S. Had it for 6 months now, and the only thing I don't like about it is... school run days.
I've got 2 kids, so school run days mean I need to leave the Cayman at home & take my Cooper S instead.
Still - 9 weeks (9!) of school holidays start tomorrow ! Happy days.
In two minds about the 19 inch Carrera Sport wheels. They look fantastic - but I know, deep down, it's nicer on smaller wheels.
Could definitely be convinced to swap them for 987.1 or 987.2 18s, if anyone was minded to offer a trade.

That's quite a cleaning job (I see you even painted your neighbour's house while you were at it!)I've got 2 kids, so school run days mean I need to leave the Cayman at home & take my Cooper S instead.

Very nice!Here's some of mine........
I must take some photos of the interior... I am enjoying mine so much, over 6000 miles on the clock so far, and it still puts a dirty big grin on my face when I get in and drive it. I love the way the car changes character when the Sport+ button is pressed and there is 90 degrees on the oil and water temps!
