The Front/Rear/Reversing camera option has been a godsend! Putting it in my new garage with about 2" clearance either side passing through the door was nerve wracking!

However the sides do seem to drop away so you worry about scraping on the garage wall, as you say.
Here is my 987.2 Black Edition. I am the 3rd owner, car was first registered January 2013, 25k kilometres, 2k of which are me since October 1sty 2013, including a recent weekend in southern Germany.
It is now wearing some graphite 18" BBS Himalayas shod with winter tyres, in case of snow/ice, though my A4 Allroad tends to be the vehicle of choice between December and March around these parts
