New project - 2001 Boxster S

After seeing our much loved Atlantis Blue E36 328i Sport last week it obviously had to be replaced

Looked at several E46 330Ci cabs and was disappointed by them all, came very close to a nice M3 but then I drove a Boxster S and was hooked

2001 car, not many options but those it has are desirable (in my book anyway) - namely the factory sports exhaust and 18" split rims (which are totally unmarked)

Few little things need to be sorted but mechanically it appears perfect - just a couple of scratched pieces of trim need replacing

Hopefully this is a time and effort project rather than a big money project and makes a nice driveway companion for my tweaked Alfa GTV V6

I'm not sure if that's a project - it looks too good for that! The only thing I can see obvious is the driver's seat could do with some tlc. That said there's always something do to to improve things.

I suggest that you get Sports Seats, then see if you can improve the exhaust and induction. You might want to get one of the hard tops. Then get a set of ceramic brakes. If this is a REAL project, could you get a 996 3.4 engine into it?

Won't it blow before you could even get it started?

996 3.4 engine blocks are great...for coffee tables with a sheet of glass on top! Even then they probably let go.

After 13 months of ownership and money spent on new hood with glass window, new expansion tank, new rear tyres etc its sadly up for sale
