It wouldn't make a difference to me......Eg I wouldn't be paying more for a Jan 15 registered car over a Dec 14 registered car.....

Gents I would appreciate an advice, what is better: build date 3rd week Nov with delivery early Dec (registration 2014) or build mid Dec and delivery late Dec (registration in 2015)?
Second one?
Mines going to be a 15 plate, so I am happy to wait.

Off to Porsche Solihull at 13:30 to discuss my GTS.......my Wife's told me to leave my debit card at home hehe

Here's my latest spec that I'm taking there today;

Any comments? Anything I'm missing? Anything I could do without? I know it's all personal but any comments welcome!

that's mine so you could say you are missing a lot and have also chosen the wrong gear box, wheels and seats ;-). I do like the yellow though

Great spec! I'd rather rear parking sensors than folding mirrors if this was to be used daily.

Not really missing a lot from your spec apart from the extra for Silver paint and the PCCB's, which for my use would be overkill.

It's not going to be a daily so don't really anticipate needing to park it many places, apart from my drive smile

seats, wheels, gearbox, Brakes choice.

I also think the black pack will chip and dislike black on the wing mirrors it looks cheap.

yellow is stunning though but, we all like what we like on spec.

the wheels are so 987.2 Cayman R (not a bad choice), But I think the wheels I picked look amazing and stand out on the 981 and make it look newer.

also on yellow the wheels I choose look amazing.

spec is personal, but change the wheels :-)

Arrrgghhh you've hit my achilles heel; the wheels!!!

Of all the things to agonise over, it's been the wheels that have given me the biggest headache!!! laugh

I like them all!! I think I can rule out the Carrera Classics as they look a bit plain and extremely common when you look at the classifieds. The Turbo wheels look a bit fussy to me. That leaves the Techno & Carrera S wheels. I don't like either in silver, and the S wheels in Satin look a bit dull to me, which leads me to Either of them painted partially in black.......

I do like the Techno wheels on this yellow Boxster though!!

Hopefully get to see some in the flesh today.........

why the folding mirrors then? Just adds weight! :-)

The Techno wheels are a little wider 10J vs. 9.5J for the rest so the tyres are a little more stretched. The offset is slighlty higher also. Not sure whether they protrude further as a consequence?

Just missing the DAB Radio. The standard one is next to useless!
