Just had delivery date of 15th of December confirmed. Genuinely don't know how I will cope. Carmine Red. X73. PDK. BUT NOT IN MY DRIVEWAY YET!
When did you order your car? Mine is supposed to arrive here in UK the 1st week of December, ordered end of September.

x73, pdk, bucket seats smile

Whats the running in period for these cars? The demo car as 1k on it already, have they ran it in down at the PEC maybe, before giving it to customers?

Ordered mid September. Was originally told last week of November, but that's being pushed back. They better gift wrap it and stick it under my tree if it's any later...
Would be interesting to see if yours gets here as promised.

And no, doesn't look like the demo at PEC - as that had x73.

Sounds familiar. Not a Reading OPC order per chance? (Mine was promised mid-Sept, now maybe next week).

My error, the spec sheet sent over said it had 1,000 miles on it but when I got in it today it only only done 125 miles.

It's done 245 now smile

Bet you didn't ease those miles on according to "proper" break-in procedure!

I wouldn't leave that spoiler up in Brum, it is likely to get snapped off!

Putting spacer on might change the handling characteristics that Porsche Engineers have worked so hard to perfect though!
Doubt it. Porsche have always been happy to stick spacers on special additions in the past without any tweaks to the chassis.

And it looks a bit daft.
Fine when you're driving, but not parked up...

And some pillock will no doubt place his empty beer can -or more likely takeway container- on that very useful rack that is so thoughtfully provided ....

Seems we're an excitable bunch, eh? Nearly 1 in every 8 posts in the Boxster/Cayman forum is in this thread? Tomorrow makes 4 weeks for me, and crossing the 2000 mile mark. Will be doing the first oil change with some Liqui-Moly. I've mostly been a good boy up to this point, though as of tomorrow I'll *really* start to uncork it. New England winter is coming, but looking forward to track time next year!

Took it to a Caffeine and Carbs and got to meet AMMO NYC's Larry Kosilla (and his friend who brought his track-rat Cayman S), as well as a photog from Petrolicious. The GTS got a surprising amount of attention, mostly on account of it being relatively new. Big ol' photo album of the "interesting stuff" (plus some stuff in the Porsche lot) here: http://imgur.com/a/YZjdb
