Thank you for posting that, I am going to go with the stainless steel ones as they seem a little cleaner.

Wouldn't disagree! My sills sit well with the steering wheel and carbon trim, but when the door is closed...

Whilst I prefer the SSW, that's the best MF SW I've seen so far...

The carbon bits looks rather good. Gives the cabin a quality look

I'm guessing the MF wheel controls the multi function display without the extra lever below the wiper switch. Gets a bit cluttered around the steering wheel with all these controls

Good point. I am just starting to get used to the controls given that two are for the phone, one is for volume, another takes you to your home screen on the MF screen next to the speedometer, and the other control is for scrolling and selecting that same MF screen rather than the main screen on the centre console. I presume the idea is that it limits the need to glance down at the main console screen.

I am very focused on performances and lightweight, so everything not strictly required is out for me.

but parking sensors, Sat Nav, smoke pack are what you need.
er !!! lol I can see why that got comments off others ;-)

but as above no spec is right, you buy what you want even if does mean you tick the PDK option ;-)
Poor man talk of PDK like it was st.
The way around indeed....

Yep, with the sports wheel you get the paddles obviously, then the stalks for wipers and indicators. There's another stalk for the mf screen, another for cruise and I think another for voice control (I don't have that one).

I DO like the new screen. Being able to configure a couple of items for some screens is a nice bonus, as is being able to hide some that you don't need.

Voice control is a small button at the end of the stalk. I've got that but not used it yet, money well spent lol

Popped in to see this in my local OPC, Viper Green GTS...

I was tempted to swap it for my Rhodium GTS which comes next week but I chickened out!

The finial spec has been submitted to the factory, I have a build date of 26th January.

I am getting quite excited now, as it's not long to go.

Gents, what should I expect from my OPC now that build date has been passed?
Any tracking system, car health check, reports, friendly call, etc..?

I would like to understand how my salesman is performing, I haven't got any previous experience on Porsche dealers/OPC.

Thanks in advance

Mine was supposed to be delivered in 11 weeks and took 17. As I was promised 11 and was never given an explanation (even after 17 weeks) after 2 weeks late I made a fuss. The OPC had lured me from another dealer with the undertaking of 11 week delivery. The end result was a discount. I would rather have had the timely delivery. At 11 weeks I would have Sept and Oct sun. Nov was delivery. Not great for a Boxster. I was getting no traction with my salesman so went up the chain. I recommend doing that if your salesman cannot give you, in this order (of occurrence) build date, completion date, leave factory date, arrive at German docks date then arrival at UK docks. I got vagueness and excuses so escalated things. I hope your delay is a minor blip. Good luck!

I think it's Glasgow, going in over the weekend to finalise my order.

How did you get on placing your order with the Glasgow OPC? Other OPCs have been keen to negotiate but no deals at Glasgow on the GTS.

Thanks, to be fair everything fine so far, but maybe I am a little bit too nervous because not sure if I can get it before holidays i.e. have it by the second week of December. Or maybe because I just want to be cared with attention and receive info from my salesman rather than call him or push him for updates.
