It's here at last!!!
Went to see the car lunchtime to give it the once over prior to paying for it before picking it up later this week. WOW. Delighted with it :cloud9
Excuse the smartphone pics (I will take a camera with me for the pick up).
Spec includes x73, MT, PCM. Didn't go for the buckets due to tight parking spaces at the office and a narrow garage!
It was worth the nine month wait

That looks amazing,I did want to order it in that colour but I was told the PTS book only opens at certain times of the year.

Bloody WOW dude. Stunning colour. Is that Mexico blue? Very individual - looks great.
Cheers for the positive comments guys. The colour is Riviera Blue but in the first two pics it looks like Mexico Blue..... showroom lighting and crappy pics. I will take some with a 'real' camera later this week. TonySim said:

To echo others looks amazing - this has to be the best colour i've seen by miles. I had mine in sapphire blue as I liked the metallic blue so much with the black ext pack and wheels.I thought that was special, but this is another level. Congrats sir.Went to see the car lunchtime to give it the once over prior to paying for it before picking it up later this week. WOW. Delighted with it :cloud9

I am the only order for a CGTS at the OPC so i am not sure how much this helps.
From what I can gather on here - 9-12 month wait seems the average for a CGTS?Carbon80 said:
Yeah, have a feeling it will be more like this. If that's the case i will try and pick one up second hand to as close to spec as i can....
That will be a shame dude as you'll probably pay the same (some cases higher)for a used one & may not totally fit your spec. I suppose you can get behind the seat of one sooner. I've had a few new cars over the years but have never totally spec'd one myself - they have been someone else's order from someone who has dropped out etc. It's funny over the weekend I had a look at the approved used Cayman GTS, S & 997's. None of the Cayman's really fitted what I am looking for so will be prepared to wait. I hope the next nine months+ goes quick!

+1 to all the other comments here, absolutely stunning, and probably the best looking CGTS I've seen - perfect wheel and GTS exterior pack choices for that colour too!.Went to see the car lunchtime to give it the once over prior to paying for it before picking it up later this week. Awesome! I ordered mine in Acid Green (same colour as the Panamera hybrid calipers) but nearly went with Riviera instead.....that was back in October and they were telling me then to expect May 2015 delivery due to the PTS. I actually think that would have lurched towards a June/July 2015 delivery given the timescales are currently been given!Congrats, looks amazing!

Ok.
Spent the day in a Cayman GTS on saturday. The weather was horrible but the car was fantastic, so much so I put my deposit down as soon as I returned the car to the OPC.
Question I would like to ask fellow owners. Car I drove had PASM which I found to be really good, very comfortable in the easy setting and still comfortable in sport+
I would like to spec mines with the SS but how firm is this compared to the hardest setting on PASM??
Ohh and the noise of that sports exhaust!!!!
I had a chance to drive a S, not a GTS, with PASM, different springs and GT3 front swaybar and a adjustable rear swaybar. In my mind, this is the optimum combination. You get the same ride height as the SS, but with superb every day comfort. Yes, it is more expensive, but I thought the combination is fantastic. I ordered the same for my GTS.
