Are the buckets placed very low? No problem for me but my wife is 5ft 2in and will occasionally drive the car
No height adjust and a couple of posters have said its an issue for their short other halves, so definitely worth checking. I'm 5f 5" and jack the sports seats up quite a way.Although you folks have had the "sports buckets" for a while over there (and in near every sports car model), it's very different in the US. The Sport Buckets didn't meet our crash regs (I believe occupancy detection for airbag deployment), but we now have Lightweight Bucket Seats as an option. They're basically the seats out of the 918 Spyder, with electric height adjustment. They're now offered on the GT3, GT3 RS, GT4, and Boxster Spyder.

Not long now...
My GTS is now sold! Gone to a fellow Pistonheader which I'm really pleased about.
Mostly positive attention on the advert apart from one t*****r who emailed me insisting it is worth £38k and no more and how much of a favour he was doing me by offering that!
Anyway, sad times but I hope to be back in something exciting soon. In the meantime I've bought a bargain S Class to barge around in for the time being!

Thanks! - looks rather lovely and classy. When the sun is out, it probably looks even better Not a very common colour this one...
Hi Guys
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, owned a 2.7 981 (and a 2.9 987) before swapping to an F-Type Coupe for a year. Had to have this once I drove it, was quite incredible. Unfortunately the only day I've had so far to really take it out it was blowing a gale and made for some insecure driving on my part as I get used to the car. The sound however, which was the one thing I thought I'd really miss from the F-Type, is incredible. Looking forward to having a proper play in some of the forthcoming good weather.

Great colour combo btw!!
I honestly loved the F-Type. PastaSource even from just a test drive you're pretty bang on - the main differences really are the steering feel and confidence in the amount of grip you have - the Cayman is better in these aspects. To be honest they are both absolutely brilliant cars, if you'd bought the F-Type you wouldn't have regretted it and vice versa. Some of the sounds you could get out of the F-Type were just hilarious and I must admit I fell a bit in love with obnoxiousness of it all. The F-Type was probably the more comfortable GT too and the boot on the coupe wasn't too bad. That said when I drove the CGTS, it was just so composed and it had enough of the fun factor for me to make the change. Overall a quick comparison I'd say the Cayman is the more focused, accurate and clinical to drive; the F-Type is probably a little bit more characterful and crazy. But as I say, they've both been outstanding and I wouldn't disagree with anyone trying to justify that either one is better over the other - they're both that good, but in quite different ways.

Had a decent drive in mine last weekend. Went through a couple of tunnels at 5/7k rpm and the sound was fking amazing as I'm sure you all know. Big smiles......
EXCELLENT!!
So, the big question is...
New house, likely no garage...
Do I?
1. Leave my racing yellow Boxster GTS outside in the weather.
2. Leave my racing yellow Boxster GTS outside in the weather with an appropriate cover on.
3. Sell the BGTS and get a Cayman...
I am OCD about my cars so the thought of my immaculate 1,600 mile Boxster with fabric roof sitting out in stty weather and hot sun does not make me happy.
Building a garage is beyond my budget.
Ideas anyone??
