Car was in for 3 hours. Now brakes are squealing like mad and the driver window seal will need replaced as every time you put it down then back up its soaking wet..... Hopeless. Not a good experience!!

Take it easy, both are normal.

Car might have been washed, so seals are still wet.

Not concerned about brake squeal as it could happen on high performance pads / braking system.

Mine does it sometimes.

You've gotta have faith.....

It's not the first time this problem has occurred according to OPC.

At the very least I would expect the seat to be reupholstered!....

I'll let you guys know the outcome....

Doubt they will do anything. That's simply wear and tear.

Need to learn how to get in / out without scraping your arse across the bolsters.

That's not the case believe me.

The car isn't a year old and with a little over 4k miles...

I look forward to your instructional video on how to get in/out correctly.......

Had the same in my TT softtop and it never went away. Pain in the neck.
The brakes are no where near normal. Sounds like a bus stopping!!
Getting fixed this week.

I wonder if you have a small stone in the disc somewhere?

Standard pads should not squeak.

However, coincidentally the new Cayman GTS demo I took out last Aug had a very annoying squeak from one of the rear pads.

Normally a bit of copper grease on the backs of the pads and a reseat should fix brake squeak.

Mine is 19 months old and 8k miles, but no wear like that, just the stitching shows some sign of being rubbed?

I accept some wear but that is beyond normal for the age and mileage of the car......

Here it is, unbelievable. Warranty?
Finally my OPC called me and ask me to pop in for a coffee while they would replace the exhaust tips (2 hrs I have been told).
Now I wonder if they can replace only the tips without cutting them from the muffler. As far As I've seen, muffler and tips are welded together. I would not accept any modification of the original part, I could only accept the replacement of the entire muffler.

On top of that, provided that all Cayman GTS with back tips have this issue (scorced paint, see picture above), I am not sure if they've managed to solve this issue and I am going to receive a modified part not affected by it. Otherwise, it means in 3 months I will have the same issue again.

Suggestions?
