Looking for a GTS meeting here in west midlands too.

I've proposed Silverstone, PEC?, but it seems not many interested.
I am not too far away. Happy to meet up.

Get the PASM if you live in London.

I have this same thing happening on my BGTS and its very annoying. I wanted top go X73 but have opted to keep PASM due to the slightly higher ride height in normal mode, I dread to think how bad it would be with X73!!!

I'll get a pic up later.

I think a number of people here and on Planet 9 are revising their thoughts on X73, and the GTS nose. It's the extended nose, as well as the ride height which causes the issues. The S will be a safer bet for many - though as has been said on here, residuals of S's are unlikely to match those of the GTS.

Potential GT4 owners ought to be a bit concerned.

Crikey! I thought mine was bad. And you have PASM! Mines covered in PPF which might explain why there is less paint missing, but its still such a gut wrenching sound when you hear it ground out. My condolences to your bumper!

Are you in London too?

As an aside

WHEN ARE WE HAVING THIS MEET!? Come on guys! Let's do it.

I'm doing the 'Ring on August 2nd of anyone wants to tag along.

Not London, Northamptonshire...at least its only plastic and can easily be touched up without being noticed too much.

Whats the itinerary for the Ring? Are you staying overnight or a quick there and back again? Sounds like a fun trip!

Re meeting, my proposal: PEC Silverstone, a saturday (hopefully dry, no rain).

I could call them to ask if we can gently pop in in the car park and possibly get in for a coffee.

Dates: 1ts August, 8th August, 22nd, 29th...

Quote this post with a proposed date and name, then we agree a date.

Eeee that looks bad.

I take it that X73 is Sports Suspension -30mm, while PASM is the adaptive system standard on the Box coming with -10mm. If that's the result, boys, I'm glad I stuck with the standard (PASM).

Going on the chunnel at 7am on the sunday morning, should be there by noon at the latest. Laps all day (open til 7pm) then staying overnight at family place nearby. Then flying somewhere else and coming back to pick up my car a few weeks later and repeat the Sunday at the ring on the 23rd too.

The more the merrier. Should have a couple of mates with Porsche/Mclaren/Ferrari along too.

Eeek. On my Ferrari 360 I've installed skid plates.

Is there a similar thing for the Boxster? It's going to be pretty essential for the Spyder when it arrives....

Eeek too... Looks like this is going to be a problem for me as well, some of the speed bumps on my way home are quite severe.

Applying some kind of protection might be a good idea. just 2mm thick perhaps. I might try some of this, if I can get some in yellow

I've also decided to go for XPEL protection, probably the whole car, after a new car paint prep and then Swissvax over the top.

Edit: Found some in yellow, if anyone would like some PM me as I won't need 6m

Difference between PASM and X73 on the GTS is only 10mm

With PASM the ride height is the same in Normal and Sport - -10mm below standard. Only the damper stiffness changes with Sport.

So I've only just gone and ordered a CGTS. 64k spec. Carmine Red with GTS interior. Managed to get a surprising discount but not a build date! Let's see where this adventure takes me! This is my first sports car let alone a Porsche. I usually drive hatchbacks....
