It's not anyone on here. He wanted to buy a new one but missed the boat on a 2015 car. He was in the Edinburgh OPC when I was in looking to buy the front boot plastic bin. He approached me in the car park asking if I wanted to do a deal. Seems my spec and colour were pretty close to what he wanted.

Already been offered £7.5k over my list price which was pretty steep with all my extras.
This doesn't really surprise me. Maybe not over list once owned, but certainly stemming the normally loss in residuals other variants will take. Looking at autotrader the GTS values seem to be holding well comparative to list even after 7-9k miles on them. And of course that mental 2.7 with 20k worth of options on it being asked for £56k!
Be interesting to see how this plays out over time as the GT4 hits the second hand market and the arrival of pot4s.
One thing is for sure, who cares about selling it....there is nothing out there “new” that I would move to over a GTS. Not even a 981.2 with a blower.

Exactly, I'm of the same opinion there is nothing currently on the market that would be interested in. The CGTS is the perfect daily driver and weekend fun car. Every time I sit in it, it feels special.Looking at autotrader the GTS values seem to be holding well comparative to list even after 7-9k miles on them. Good god man, why are you torturing yourself like that?!
I know what you are saying, but one of my bucket list things has always to pick up a car on new registration plate day. I doubt I will get a new car so close again so choosing to tick 2 off the bucket list in one go - Cayman GTS and New Plate day! It will be the longest 3 weeks though - albeit friendly OPC happy for me to keep popping in and drooling.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
