10%+ profit? Might be tempted to take that - who offered it?

It's not anyone on here. He wanted to buy a new one but missed the boat on a 2015 car. He was in the Edinburgh OPC when I was in looking to buy the front boot plastic bin. He approached me in the car park asking if I wanted to do a deal. Seems my spec and colour were pretty close to what he wanted.

re: 2015 Availability above just put in an order with a 20th August option lockout for a late September/early October delivery, so there are slots out there.

Already been offered £7.5k over my list price which was pretty steep with all my extras.
This doesn't really surprise me. Maybe not over list once owned, but certainly stemming the normally loss in residuals other variants will take.

Looking at autotrader the GTS values seem to be holding well comparative to list even after 7-9k miles on them. And of course that mental 2.7 with 20k worth of options on it being asked for £56k!

Be interesting to see how this plays out over time as the GT4 hits the second hand market and the arrival of pot4s.

One thing is for sure, who cares about selling it....there is nothing out there “new” that I would move to over a GTS. Not even a 981.2 with a blower.

Arrived on Friday :-)

Manual, X73, shiny black bits, Carmine.

Wow! I had no idea it would be this good!
The X73 is amazing! Comfy too!

Here is mine after 5 months and 3700 miles.

I'm still really over the moon with the car and every time I drive it brings a smile to my face.

Love it. I've got buckets in my Boxster with the red GTS interior. Combination of the 2 makes the inside of the car look really special to my eye and great with the roof down smile And they are soooooo comfy

Exactly, I'm of the same opinion there is nothing currently on the market that would be interested in. The CGTS is the perfect daily driver and weekend fun car. Every time I sit in it, it feels special.

Thank you! We decided as we're only planning to do this once, to do it exactly how we wanted it!

Stunning in the red! That was my other colour choice in Carmine. Gamble would have been having to wait for a 2016 car and then question mark over the engine. Didn't want to take the chance.

I know what you are saying, but one of my bucket list things has always to pick up a car on new registration plate day. I doubt I will get a new car so close again so choosing to tick 2 off the bucket list in one go - Cayman GTS and New Plate day! It will be the longest 3 weeks though - albeit friendly OPC happy for me to keep popping in and drooling.
