Thanks mate but I did't get a PM.
I've sent by 2 nearest dealerships (Newcastle and Leeds) my configuration code so I'll see what comes back and I've asked for finance figures. If this is possible I'll be back to ask questions about my spec i.e is PTV worth it as I've omitted it from my configuration?
I omitted PTV on the advice of my PEC instructor and my car feels fine in my admittedly unskilled hands. Instructor said only worth getting if doing track days. I only specced x73 and PCCB on mine as I wanted the most analogue car possible.I've sent by 2 nearest dealerships (Newcastle and Leeds) my configuration code so I'll see what comes back and I've asked for finance figures. If you’re between Newcastle and Leeds might I suggest you give Kendal OPC a try? Slightly further to go but they have always treated me well.

Thanks for the replies guys. Leeds have got back to me and with my spec the figures don't add up for me. I currently have a 12 plate E92 M3 but fancy a change and was unimpressed with the M4. Tbh the spec had more residual in mind than what I really wanted. The figures only add up for me if I leave it completely standard and I mean completely except for pdk. Would this be a massive mistake from a resale prospective? I'll be using it for fun (no track use) and the odd shopping trip/nights away with the wife. I see the option to lower by 20mm is free which seems odd. Has anyone gone for a bare one spec and if so got a photo of the interior without the pcm and just standard black interior with no finishers?

The pics of mine on P52 might help a little. No optional extra bits in there. We did remove Alcantara from steering wheel and gear knob, but that's it. We have Nav, but the screen looks the same anywa. bigtime said:

May come as a surprise to people but the residual amount is flexible but dealers never reveal this and go with the advertised structures. It is deliberately left high as it earns higher interest but makes cars more "affordable". I have changed my residual amounts before when I've taken a PCP but it means your monthly will be higher. However you pay less interest overall.Don't ask why I know this.....

Ordered a new Boxster GTS for November build delivery all being well for Christmas 2015, not a penny off the price their last F6 allocation before 981.2 arrives in March 2016. They have a few Normal Boxster S in the system along with stock S cars at the dealership which they were more than happy to do a deal on but no go on the last GTS cars.
Anyway spec is as follows
Racing Yellow paintwork
Black hood
Black leather interior with alcantara
Roll over bars in Yellow
Bi-Xenon- headlights inc. Porsche System Plus (PDLS+) with dynamic high beam
Park assist front & rear
Electric folding door mirrors
Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) incl. mechanically locking rear differential
PDK
Sport Chassis 20 mm lower
20-inch Sport Techno Wheels
Wheels painted partially black
Seat heating
Two- Zone climate control
Smoking package
Light design package
Racing Yellow sport chrono stopwatch instrument dial
Interior painted package in Racing Yellow
Sport seats 2 way plus
Racing Yellow instrument dials
Racing Yellow seat belts
Centre console trim painted Racing Yellow
Storage compartment lid in Alcantara with Porsche crest
Sound package plus
Mobile phone prep
Porsche Communication management (PCM) including navigation module
That just about sums it up,now the long wait begins.
Quite a few similarities with my car. With the yellow I have the external GTS pack which provides for gloss black instead of dull black and is stunning against the yellow. Yellow trimmed floor mats look good too. I went for carbon in the interior but each to their own. It will be a stunning car and worth the wait! There are pictures of mine earlier in this thread if you are interested. Anyway spec is as follows

Hi cibble10, yes your car was an inspiration in choosing the colour lol. We wanted the exterior GTS gloss pack to match the Gloss wheels, however when you choose the roll over bars painted in body colour you then can't have the GTS exterior pack, for me a deal breaker so no Gloss pack, but not the end of the world.

Call that a long wait!!! I ordered my BGTS in May and the November build slot was the only one they had at the Exeter OPC

Great spec and another with PTV & X73
It was very interesting spending the morning at PEC Silverstone to make these decisions. They arranged two Caymans for me - one with X73, PTV, PCCB and buckets, the other without. PCCB and buckets were great but I ruled them out on cost grounds and the fact that the 'standard' alternatives to both were excellent. There is a small figure-of-eight track out the back of the handling course, and towards the end of the morning when I explained the choice I needed to make to my instructor, we spent about half an hour just haring around this mini course so I could really feel the difference in handling. It's not far back to the car park either, so I must have swapped two or three times and then straight back to the figure-of-eight.
Cornering with X73 was noticeably flatter, and turn in was ever so slightly crisper with PTV. Better traction out of the corner too. I do intend on doing trackdays so this was a useful comparison and made my mind up. Would I notice PTV on the road? Almost certainly not!
Yes I have had a 987 Cayman S before on 19's with PASM for 3 years, I test drove a Cayman S with PASM on 19's, what I found on both cars when really pressing on and I mean pressing on lol there is a lot of vertical body movement along with some pitching movement which annoys me when flat out on my local B roads blasts, so I am hoping the X73 suspension with its uprated ARB's will cut a lot of this out, your experience at the PEC bears this out hopefully, anyway I should soon find out when the PEC invite arrives

I had the same clash with internal options. I wanted the GTS internal pack but wasn't able to because of another choice that was more important to me. Like yours though, it doesn't seem to make any sense that you can't have both! They would make more money if they were more flexible!I was bowled over with mine when it arrived. Emotional even! A couple of options, one being the yellow air vents, the other the actual car colour, but it all works and gets a lot of positive attention wherever I go.... not at home though, the missus did not like my colour choice, and still doesn't... LOL

Me againI had a Cayman R a couple of years' back. Would suggest my BGTS on X73 is a step up, and the R was no slouch. Hopefully we will have a charity hill climb in Guernsey again soon so I can see how much quicker I can go up the hill!
Regards
Paul

Not in sport mode surely? Normal I'd agree. The stiffer damping will reduce pitch in sport mode (and PASM already has stiffer springs which will also reduce pitch) The ARBs will have no effect on pitch whatsoever however stiff (they act in roll not pitch). Stiffer springs and dampers will affect pitch not ARBs.
