Call me old fashioned but I never like to not run a new engine in fully. What does the owner's manual say out of interest?
Good to know app (based on owners manual) says:Despite the most modern, high precision manufacturing methods, the running in of moving parts with each other cannot be completely avoided. Running in occurs mainly in the first 3,000 KM (1,865 miles).
During the first 3,000 KM (1,865 miles) you should:
Preferably take longer trips.
Avoid frequent cold starts with short distance driving whenever possible.
Do not participate in Club Sport events.
Avoid high engine speeds, especially when the engine is cold.
Just reporting what the book says…..don’t shoot the messenger.

As I've already received this picture by text I'm going to presume you're Bondy's mate! My CGTS arrives on Friday (although likely not collecting until first week of May due to holiday) - we will have to do a run over to Wales again some time in May or June. Looks great btw. Also having grown up there I can confirm that Wales has a mediterranean climate and the weather is always that beautiful......
Indeed! I have heard about the tragedy about you going on holiday the day you take delivery! sorry to hear that. Was a great weekend in mediterranean Wales! I have also seen a pic of your CGTS that will be in white... looks lovely. I am up for a run over to Wales again. Just please don't visit the village we were staying in - speak to Bondy. He can explain the village situation!Nice car but what makes this worth over list, I know it's a good colour but how can a mass produced car be worth overs once second hand, or are they just chancing their arm on someone not being able to afford a GT4 and buying this instead?

I think with the cost of PTS that wouldn't be over list - I don't disagree it's expensive though.https://www.jzmporsche.com/porsche-for-sale/cayman...

It's not over list and at 15 miles it's hardly second hand. https://www.jzmporsche.com/porsche-for-sale/cayman...
Mine was around the same price new with PTS but without PDK so if you want one of the last CGTS in a great colour, it's a bargain. 😃

Correct wheels on that very nice!
I don't see turbo wheels anywhere in that photo. . . . . . . Mario149 said:
Is there a list of wheel weights anywhere?
A cynic might think they would rather not publish weights if it turned out that the cheapest wheels happened to be the lightest. That said even Caterham - who used to publish the weight of everything - including the paint - don't do it any more. From a quick Google, these are for 991s. No info on Turbo wheels, but:

Not wheel but tyre weights I find this site useful to compare the weights of compatible tyres, I found it surprisingly hard to track this info down.https://tiresize.com
