Very nice...I love the contrast in your garage, state of the art sports car and an Aldi compressor.

Lol. It pumps up the tyres...can't complain. Actually had it several years now without issue so a good bargain. A more stark contrast is that I drive a Vauxhall van for my job quite a lot (very hands on me) that really is a mind job!!!

Anyway, you should talk, you know where it came from so probably a visitor too? wink

Have a close look at one Andy, in pictures or on paper it's hard to see, unless in the flesh, how amazing these cars are.

wow! big step up!! I am in love with my CGTS but the want for a 650s is huge.... Just need to work harder and do some serious man maths!!!

I looked it carefully & thought it more sensible to spent 1/3rd the cost for a brand new GTS with what 85% of the smiles & a better noise to boot!

Well that & the fact that I'm currently building our dream house & the money was far better spent on that at this moment in time!

Id love to have a look at one. However, using my senable head it going to be too much in terms of outlay at present unless I can do some quiet creative man maths.

What are they like in terms of running costs? As that's normally the biggest factor for me as I like to keep my cars in A1 condiction so I often replace things which don't nessary need replacng at times (OCD).

Edit: I may have just enquired about one. redfacelaugh

Yes...very true, I'am not shy nothing wrong with the Aldi gear.

Driving a van every day may be a chore but knowing you've got a toy in the garage like that makes it bearable.

I called into the local OPC on Bank Holiday Monday - ostensibly to have a look at the 718 Boxster in the metal, but really to use their loo.

First thing I see on my way in; new Cayman GTS.

I couldn't help myself and following some negotiations on both the OPC and the home front, I picked it up today and am so happy.

Thanks - it was a stock car, so I did not spec it, but it had all the things I wanted, plus a few others like the carbon door sills, which are not something I would have considered myself, but do work well.

Very happy that a chance visit led to me getting this.

Nice. I have the carbon sills too - combined with the GTS interior pack's carbon dash and PCM surround, it just completes the look perfectly.

Lovely car Pete, I've been meaning to pick up a set of the carbon stills as I feel it finishes off the GTS interior package a treat.

Carbon sills would be one thing I would have liked on mine in retrospect, but my option bill was already 25K and I had to stop somewhere. Maybe I will retrofit one day...
