Looks quite nice smile Pros and cons for me:

+tives
GTS pack
Interesting colour combo (i.e. not the usual black/red/plain silver with a black roof)
Carrera Classic wheels (second lightest 20" ones available and they hide brake dust fantastically)
Front and rear parking sensors
Sport design steering wheel
Telephone prep

-tives
Only air con, not auto climate control
X73 so not adjustable like PASM
Given it's quite a "drivers" spec car with manual and X73 I think bucket seats would have been nice
ETA: it also lacks PTV (LSD and torque vectoring), again strange given it's a manual with X73
ETA2: no dimming mirrors

Whats the difference between air con and climate control? Cant you choose temps or is it twin zone climate?

Basically, ignore the 2-zone bit, it's not important, the main difference is that with air con you set the temp of the air coming out, with climate you set the temp you want the cabin at. So with the latter you can leave it the same whatever the outside temp is and it will auto adjust the temp of the air blowing out to achieve what you want, but with the former you have to turn it up or down manually

Given you put a deposit down it'll be what you are paying I would suspect!
I was told it might sell
Of course it will! Even if you like it, do "walk" if you cant get a deal. What's the list price of the car, and when was it first reg? Was it a demo or customer car?

It becomes important when your other half wants the world to be at least 5 degrees hotter than you do !

It generally is on the bus I understand? Perhaps she could travel separately?

Finally got round to fitting my Zunsport grills that were discussed at length many pages back.

Quite happy with the overall quality of the grills, and they seem to be doing a good job of protecting the rads.

Not totally sure of the look on the lower outboard grills. Slopes inward quite a bit at the bottom inboard as shown in the attached photo, which contrasts with the vertical centre grill. Would have preferred if they had profiled them so there was a constant distance from the front of the bumper plastic moulding instead of that corner sloping in.

On the whole though I am pretty happy with them. Did any of the guys planning to fit GT4 mesh make any progress with theirs at all?

I dont know what the first registration was, all i know is its 2015. List of Boxster GTSs was £52,879, then add the options of BOSE, Carbon trims, Digital radio, ParkAssist front and rear, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl navigation module with universal audio interface, Seat heating, SportDesign steering wheel, Telephone module, Wheel Caps.

Are the above cost options? It has X73 Suspension but i heard that was no cost. In my books it makes the car new at £57316. Which means is more than list?

Mate, i'd get them to pull up the list price on their computer and then justify why they're charging the same/overs

JayK12, the ad is misleading as that car has the full GTS silver pack which includes the carbon trim. If I remember correctly that cost the lions share of £3k by itself.

It's still strong money for a used car with a year of warranty less, one more owner and the running in already complete.

Cheers guys, BGTS and CGTS seem few and far between for what i am looking for.

This one i am looking at also but the wheels are awful imo, so will need to change them.

http://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/6278354-porsche...

Id love this one its what i want, but 63K seems quite alot compared to list, I have message the owner, but no number or much detail in the add.

Lovely cars but it seems the time to buy them was new. They are crazy money for second hand cars imo. What about a Cayman s or Boxster S for 10-15k less and much more choice?

I have looked at them but want the spec of a GTS, and love the GTS Interior pack with the Alcantara.

I'll test drive tomorrow, see which one i like and then see if its worth paying that much for them i guess. They currently seem to be commanding strong money, 4 GTS i know of sold Monday to Thursday!

I feel like i am rushing, which i dont want to but feel like i might miss out.

I fitted my GT4 mesh today and will post photos taken in sunlight maybe tomorrow.

It wasn't straight forward and I ended up mounting the two side ones not flush with the back of the bar, but further back in the opening. For the centre one, the GTS opening is smaller than the GT4, so I had to modify the mesh but I got this one to sit flush with the back of the bar.

In hind site, I think you would need to install GT4 driving light plastic surrounds for the two side openings, as there is no way you can make the mesh sit flush to the back of the bar with GTS parts.

Also, I during the fitment I broke the corner of a headlight, as I didn't remove them from the car, so that will cost. Does anybody know of a GTS being parted out?

So then guys today I drove a Boxster GTS Manual and Cayman GTS PDK........To me they felt like two different cars.

The Boxster was on X73 suspension and although firmer than PASM it was ok, and it makes the car look great. The gearing, yes its geared long, but the box felt great, and the cheeky down shifts / rev matching although cheating they where fun. Brakes felt so good, naturally left foot braked before a corner and the feel was so good. The exhaust note through a tunnel was great. Wind buffeting in the cock pit was very little, I was surprised. Over all the car had me smiling, and in my opinion this is what you want a car to do.

The Cayman once in felt good. I have to say the PDK is so good, the functionality in auto mode was very good, and in manual it was just like being on my simulator at home, quick shifts, and left foot braking like I was playing a game. The engine sounded brilliant! There was drone at 2000 rpm when under load, it was quite bad. But when I got out of the car wasn't grinning like I was in the Boxster, it was more a serious drive and less fun.

The verdict, if you just want to work on your lap times or hit every apex harder than before get a Cayman, if you want fun get the Boxster..........I know what I did this time smile

Are you really saying you prefer a Boxster? Or is it really the case that you prefer X73 and manual - the general consensus is that with the same suspension spec/box/ wheels there is practically no difference in feel between the two cars. Sure, if you want to hear the exhaust a Boxster with the top down might be better - but dynamically there is precious little between them (and what tiny difference there is would probably favour the Cayman because it is more rigid).

Prefer the Boxster, the feeling of the open top drive. I like the look of the X73 suspension, and you cant beat a manual. The Cayman felt strong mid range the 10hp, but more so the gearing being shorter. Both great cars, and I am a drivers driver but I just really enjoyed the Boxster as a package, when im in the Alps I can drop the roof and have that occasion........

Thanks to whoever suggested that I should look at a BGTS smile And thanks to everyone for their help, good bunch you lot lol.

Here are some daylight photos of the GT4 mesh.

I am not overly happy with how I mounted the side ones, I think I would like to look in to replacing the GTS black side openings with GT4, but all this start to get really expensive. However I prefer the look of the GT4 mesh over the Zunsport mesh, but you are paying a premium and they most certainly aren't plug and play.
