Thanks, excellent point. I hadn't considered that. It does look really nice though! spin

More important for me was having the GTS interior package, made the interior look really special.
Your bottom picture is of the bucket seats is it not ?
They are not a standard part of the GTS interior package, fantastic seats which I had in my BGTS, but did not want to confuse Jonny08

First pic is Sports Seats Plus (standard on the GTS), second is folding buckets (£1.8k option from memory).

Thanks for sharing those, the one I'm looking at has the GTS interior package but without the buckets. I agree, it makes the car special, I currently have a 981 Cayman S, and it's just a dull black leather interior, not very special inside!

It's a tricky balance to find, wait for the right spec and wait for ever, or make sacrifices!

The spec I ideal want is:
2015 or newer (My 981 Cayman S is July 2014, so needs to be newer!)
Carmine Red or Saphire Blue
Carrera S or Turbo Design Wheels
GTS interior package, ideally with buckets
GTS exterior package
PCM
BOSE
Park Assist Front and Rear
2-zone automatic air conditioning
Heated Seats (not sure you can have this with the buckets?)

The contrast stitching of the GTS interior pack was expensive as a £2000 option, but it really highlights the cabin environment. I wanted the carbon trim too anyway so it was a no branier option for me. I love it biggrin

You can with the folding buckets as seen in the pic above, but not the fixed racing buckets which were a little more expensive at around £2k as an option when new.

Something like this

GTS interior pack, heated buckets and all fully specced, for sale at Tewkesbury

Jonny, can't seem to PM you, but maybe we should talk. I have a pdk 981 cgts in carmine, with gts interior, pcm, park assist f+r, air con, heated seats, auto dim mirrors, blah blah. Missing a couple of bits off your ideal spec (bose, gts exterior) but then i have near full ppf and its v well looked after. also those bits can be sorted quite easily... Unfortunately its 64 plate, but it was first reg at christmas 14 and has been in storage both winters now. Send me a pm if you want more details. I've found a gt4 I'm interested in so will be sad to see it go, but also excited!

Geoff, just for the record, I know about your BGTS, and I can honestly say that it is the best version in existence, I admire it so much.

Hi, you have drawn up a perfect list there, bucket seats are really rare, I recently sold my white CGTS to Porsche Brooklands, it's an amazing car and it has the bucket seats, with this sort of car, the bucket seats are a must.

Just had a look at your GTS very nice spec, what you are getting ?

Been told my is expensive at Tewkesbury, but looking at nicely specced cars on both Cayman and Boxsters at OPC's it seems in line.

How about this one, looks great, in fact if my daughter wasn't starting a three year course at university this year I would be very tempted to buy it.

i disagree. I think they are in a GT car, but for a road car other options can be more suitable.

By the way, buckets were taken off the options list during 2015 as they were a priority for GT4s/Spyders etc so if anyone is looking for a late car with buckets you won't find one...

Thanks for the PM's chaps. I've replied with photos and more details. Can't believe I might be moving on from the red devil! Will you still accept me in this forum if I'm driving a GT4?! weeping

I agree with you, what is more, I hate getting in and out of the bucket seats, but once your in, nothing compares...

I disagree, your former BGTS is amazing and well priced, it is simply the best out there. If I wasn't after a 991.1 GTS or maybe a CGT4, then I would have bought it by now...

I've been quoted a residual of £22K in 4 years time on a 2016 GTS, I nearly fell off my chair. Does anyone know how they calculate it? I know it's a crystal ball, but it seems ridiculously low!
