Looking good! Of course the trick with all the two-tone stuff is knowing when to stop... smile

Worth sorting out the dodgy 987 handbrake cable whilst fitting the SS kit?
I'm done now with the two-tone stuff, just the GT3 smile grille to fit and that's the aesthetics finished. What is the issue with handbrake cable? Not come across that one yet

Sorry don't know why I typed handbrake/parking brake cable. wobble

It's the gear linkage cable that fails on these... fairly common, but a bit scary if it occurs at speed! Some nice third party upgrade kits out there, might be worth reading up a bit if you are opening her up for the SS kit.

The strange thing is I actually feel the ride is much smoother now, it is hard to explain but the road leaving the workshop is full of potholes and it seemed much more controlled than the stock springs. I have not had the chance to try the PASM sport mode yet, will report back when I do

I had an IPE exhaust fitted but I think it would look better with black tailpipes. IPE do make black ones but it is a £300 extra!!!
I have found a company called Camcoat who will ceramic coat them in black gloss for £40 and they are half a mile away from Chipwizards who are doing the remap on Friday so will kill two birds smile
The Carnewal is a good choice, they sound great & without the drone

I hate to be a pedant but it will be Porsche Green. It is often referred to as Viper, but that is an old 70s colour, which to be fair is very similar.

Even main dealers do it!

Viper does sound better though! smile
Hate to break it to you old boy but you are incorrect. I have just been to OPC to see about having some stone chips sorted and the official name of the paint code was RS Viper green wink

Your Cayman might be, but the GT3RS gen 1 is Porsche Green.

Lol, who said anything about a GT3RS gen1? wink anyway I ordered the paint I don't want the whole door painted for one small chip even tho it is driving me mad looking at it so gonna try a tiny bit of paint on a cocktail stick to see if I can hide it enough to live with

Car was on the rolling road at Chipwizards (based in Ninemeister 9M premises) on Friday, after 3-4 runs it made 320 bhp & 277 ft/lbs torque. (Best was 322 worst 318). Was pretty much what I was expecting

There was no after figure because when he studied all the data he said it was running absolutely perfect and if he played around with for hours he would struggle to make any improvement at all. Great guy, really knows his stuff and very honest not to take my money as many others would have.

The gain over factory power was about right from the exhaust, manifold, TB, plenum & induction mods
