Hi all

Three little new owner questions for people with a 981.

I've noticed an odd strap that appears to be loose at one end through the rear window of my Dec 2012 981s.

Anyone else see the same thing with theirs ?

Any idea of it's purpose ?

Also I have noticed this apparent corrosion under the passenger rear light cluster ... maybe something else .. any ideas ?

Finally ... I have a really irritating squeak when driving with the roof down that comes from over my right shoulder. I think it is the sprung flap that comes up when the roof closes, but could be the plastic above the carpet and around the seat belt opening. Anyone else had this and know how to resolve ? I'll be taking it to Mid-Sussex to look at but would like people's views.

Best regards

Paul.

Someone responded to a question on planet-9 (from someone else) re the strap. It was suggested it may be a strap used by Porsche when holding the roof out the way to access the engine. No idea if that is right. Apparently it is held both sides by clips that can come off ...
