Not handy.

However, the drains are easy to find.

Remove the plastic panel on either side of the battery cover.

Remove the battery cover.

The drains are surrounded by hard dark colored Styrofoam water catch basins.

If they are dirty or even worse, blocked, you'll know it.

Clean these gently. You do not want to damage the catch basin as this may let water seep through and into areas it should not be.

And you do not want to possibly damage the drain that runs the water down to the bottom of the car, for the same reason. Having the possibility of water leaking out before it gets to the end of the drain pipe could have water going where it is not supposed to go.

The drain pipe may be positioned too that the draft when the car is moving down the road helps create a low pressure area in the area of the basins to help pull water down and out the car when driving in a rain storm.

i posted last year i had a bit of water coming into the front boot area when we have very heavy downfall of rain. this happened last weekend, so want to try resolve it. It is worth taking into my local OPC, so that they can take a look?

It is very important the drains be checked and if found blocked properly unblocked.

Furthermore, it is very important to determine how the water is getting into the front trunk, err boot, and get this corrected.

If you are not up to doing these yourself -- and some owners are not up to doing these and that's ok -- then getting the car into the local OPC to have these serious issues dealt with is worth it.

well.. turns out all the drain holes are working great.
turns out that a gromet with a cable passing through it on the front bulkhead (behind the bumper) has split. the water run-off down the side of the bonnet, then tracks the cable and then water (during heavy rain) comes into the front luggage area. anyone else had this problem?
i've sealed it up, doesn't look great but the liner will hid my poor sealing
