18's are not approved fitment on the 2.5 according Porsche.
If you want to actually enjoy the handling 17's or even the original base 16's (if you don't mind the slightly dinky looks) would be the way to go.
In terms of tyre choice, hard to say anything against the N-spec Michelins, if they fall within your budget.

What is on the front?
Depth and age? The front tyres, not the driver.
Driving style? (driver)
Does it go out in the rain, or is it a dry-days only car?
Used every day?
