I look forward to hearing if they've gave it more power.

IME more power doesn't necessarily make it better. You can over power a car which actually makes it less enjoyable.

If it is, then it's very subtle - I can't see any immediate difference smile

The picture quality is not that good, but it looks as if it may have a centre radiator which is likely to be required if turbocharged.

More pictures here which clearly show a rollcage. Possibly just fitted to the test mule but who knows. http://www.worldcarfans.com/114093082033/2016-pors...

Mirrors are nice.

If the info on the motors is correct, I would rather buy an Audi TT.

I think you'll find the centre radiator is related to PDK. Certainly my Spyder has a central radiator becuase I chose PDK. Not sure if this is same on 981 series.

Probably just me but I'd say the rear three quarters shots make it look more like a 987...

some info listed in the new Autobild...

April 2016
new assistance systems (?)
new steering wheels with 918-style driving dynamic selector
new infotainment system (PCM 4.0?)
optional LED lights
optional Head-up-Display (! - wow if true)

No mention of engines but clearly there will be a 4-cylinder turbo.

In your dreams. wink

Porsche mechanics are already getting trained on new 4-cylinder engines and the venerable NA flat six engines will not stand a chance against future turbo 4-cylinder engines. Matthias Müller announced 400hp+ from their 4 cylinder engines a while back.
The Cayman S desperately needs a sizable power bump with the Golf R, A45, new RS3, M2 in mind.

The 981.1 GT4 will most likely be the last 6-cylinder mid-engine Porsche in this price range.

agree all the standard cars even PASM cars look stupid, put me off the 987.2 car when it came out just because of that daft gap.

Shame isn't it.

My 987 on PASM looked tolerable after adding some 10mm spacers but still not as it should. Audi are guilty of this too of course.

Something to do with requirements to fit snow chains, but BMW still seem to manage to strike the right balance.

A reason I loved my Audi was it looked good with no gap

yes they are OZ wheels on my TTRS, but the SUS is not dropped and they are oem tyre size, thought it sat very well
