Seat removal Porsche Boxster

I have had water ingress in my Boxster, this is my first porsche.
Have taken out the passenger seat, no problem
Have taken out body control module, no problem
Want to remove carpets to dry the whole thing out.
Can't get last bolt out of drivers seat, the one nearest the centre console, can't get the seat far enough forward to expose enough of the bolt to get onto it. Anyone got any ideas?
Can the unit I removed be tested before I put it back?
