2nd car is a Cayman S with a Cayman R suspension and Bilstein dampers.
No warranty, new polyrib belt at 47000km and now for sale at 48000km... not sure how I'd feel about that.

1st car has no mention of it being accident free. wink
First car has done 105km too lol

not seeing a lot of love here for the PDK variant of the R. Is it really that bad compared to manual? Must admit my preference is for a manual box coming from air-cooled 911's but thought PDks' are semi auto and you can do manual shifts in them if preferred?
Had hoped to get a test drive in that Tonbridge one this weekend but see its sold already.

Also wondering if I would be better going for an S and spending money on it to make it like an R if I really want manual? But I am quite hooked on the R's now. I presume you can still do things like road-tour Europe in an R? ie there not that hardcore are they?
Mines a PDK and I love it.

Some people prefer manual, some PDK, it's as simple as that.

perfect for Europe trips

mine is pdk and since I have to contend with a lot of st roads as well as great ones it is a superb compromise

I sometimes feel there needs to be a setting between sport and sport plus. The first is too keen to go into high gear whereas the sport plus is just a little too much for the road.
I'm ashamed to admit, I've never pressed the Sport Plus button!

In my defence, I've only owned it through the months of Dec, Jan & Feb, not conducive to hooning yet!!

I bought the red one yesterday.
Good work!! clap

Are you going to get the decals put on? I nearly bought one without decals, nearly fell off my chair when I phoned Porsche for the price of what are essentially just stickers!!

if it were a OPC car then I would expect the car to be OEM and have the stickers !
May be some people actually aren't keen on them or just aren't fussed?

Personally, I love them on mine!

Nottingham had a green one in with buckets etc a few weeks ago... Don't know whether it has sold though as no mention on their site now..
That one had had a few things changed on it Eg fully black wheels, green plastic inserts to the seats etc...

noticed most of the cars coming up for sale all have the comfier but lardier sports seats. Are the Porsche buckets available as a retro fit? and how much?
RE PDK, Don't know if I could live without a manual shift. To me its part of the thrill of rapid driving (unless sat in traffic!). I'd need to try a pdk again to remind and convince myself.
I initially wasn't bothered at all about the bucket seats. But, I bought one with them and now would never buy a car without them!!

So what is a fair price?
Who knows?

I think a lot of the OPC cars are overpriced in my opinion, to incorporate the warranty they put on it, remedial work required to comply with the warranty and then the dealers profit. There are still cars for sale at £40k or over, that was for sale six months ago.......

There's only one other car that I would seriously have considered instead of mine, another PH'ers Peridot car with PCCB's that I passed up, ended up at Cameron's and sold within a day I think...

That does look bloody lovely though. And although I would prefer buckets, it would be nice to have heated seats in the winter!!
No buckets or PCM would be deal breakers for me personally.

No Chrono, Xenon's or mention of AC either....

Looks nice though smile

It says AC in the advert.

You can also see the Xenons in the photos?

Chrono can be fitted at an OPC cant it. Apart from the wart.

PCM is the NAV right? It would be nice, but not essential for me.
It doesn't have Xenon's, there no chrome washers in front of the lights. smile

PCM was a massive deal breaker for me personally, others less so I'm sure.
