I don't follow your logic...

Why does it matter if there are rain drops on the car when parked outside? As soon as you get moving they sheet off anyway and water tends to be rather transparent??

Not being a dick I just really don't follow your logic on this one.
Condensation is the issue - not drops of water. Ok you can go out and wipe it off, but it's a lot easier to use the wiper. Also, in cold weather when the rear screen freezes over it's a lot easier to let the wiper remove the residue when the rear screen heater has done its thing rather than get out and do it. As I say it's not an issue to me on the Porsche - but it is on other cars I own. It's really a question of form or function if the car stays out in the open, and whether you regard your car as transport (but still fun) or fun alone.

The issue I have with it is that it is a wiper - not a wash/wipe. So in filthy weather - like now - it's not as useful as it might be.

I've had Cayman with and without rear wipers - I don't think they add much in the way of practicality, you only tend to use it becuase it's there. I much prefer without, they look ugly with.

I also don't like the Xenon lights because of the little pimples on the bumper, and rear parking sensors (wish I could delete mine) - call me OCD but I prefer clean lines (and tidy kitchens) wink

No! It's Caymans (no apostrophe, it's not possessive) or Caymen - or are we all getting OCD?

No OCD, just a bit of light-hearted banter.

Mine came with a rear wiper, but I like it and use it for the condensation reasons quoted above. Also cleans rear screen when driving along motorways and roads in dirty weather conditions with spray etc. I must say if I had bought it new I would have ordered it. I think it's an asset.

I don't get the "Ugly" thing confused..... They all have wipers on the front which everyone accepts biggrin

Looks nice though smile
Yep, was for sale end of 2014..

Spec is ok, hate the rear wiper.. 38k is a little high, I'd rather spend £3-4k more and half the miles...

£34-35k would be a great buy for someone!

Sometimes wish mine was Peridot.......

Joining in on this thread as I'm trying to find a nice CR with a strict spec.

I'm aware I could be waiting a long time though!

Looks quite nice:

Buckets, PSE, rear parkers... What more could you want? Though it'll cost you another £2k to get OPC warranty if you so desire! smile

That car was £39,995 privately a week ago, looks like it on SOR or the dealer snapped it up and added a £5k premium.....

Looks expensive at £45k and black doesn't suit the car at all (imho).

If the owner of the Viper Green R is reading this - let me know if you ever decide to sell?? smile

Pic looks like the same location that Mackay Trading use, the ones who Dan911 bought the white car from around october last year?

Not sure if I'm a fan of that colour.........
