Went back to the dealer I got it from OPC Bournmouth so I heard... I'm sure they put a good mark up on it when they sold it!

You bet they made a nice profit for such a nice example.

This came my way in late September, ok its PDK but I needed that for other reasons. Buckets, PCM, all important sports chrono, air con and more than 2.5 years warranty. With sport plus I cannot below how high they rev before gear changing, truly amazing. roll on decent weather. probably less than 5 cayman R in this colour.

Yes, few people seem to understand or comment on this. Effectively max' rpm all the time!!

In my experience a pdk running on "Sport Plus" is very, very fast. Hence my comments in the Which Is Quickest thread. No way could I get my manual car moving that quickly without serious abuse of the clutch and gears. PDK seems to be able to cope with it though, albeit I don't know how long the car would last. On reflection that probably doesn't matter - the car would easily outlast your driving licence! smile

you can rev a manual you know lol

the issue with sports plus is, it cannot see what's coming so full rpm might not be what you need, you might want to drop in gear at peak torque circa 5k revs so power out the bend.

So again who would ever drive in Sports plus, I have tried it a few time in loan cars, it does not work.

Sport Plus on a PDK is great on a track. Not very useful on the road.

Because you can still manual shift a PDK in Sports Plus - in my 987 it shortens the shift time, raises the rev limit and loosens off PSM!

I only drive PSM off....Then you talk about manual shifts, but then have to press a button to get faster shifts, so Infact you are really doing nothing still bar pressing a micro switch , you have no choice on the gear change speed.

I do wonder why people buy sports cars, if you "yawn" when some on wants to drive with PSM off.

I bet your geo is stock also, you are just not that into driving as much as me and a few others on here.
I don't mind people not being into driving as much , just admit it and all would be well :-)

big spec, turbo wheels, which you could sell for £1.5k and buy some Spyder wheels for £4k.

Nice low miles car and PLATINUM SILVER in real life is stunning imo.

def one to think about, esp the low miles and leather, not many are sub 10kmiles now.

Apart from the wheels and rear wiper its a nicely specced car, and as mr D says, you could always sell the wheels.

if it had the SPyder wheels though it would be >£42k so it's priced well imo and it's easy to sell the wheels and buy some new ones.

I also noted how the battery could have 5 years warranty but the car is Porsche warranty 111 check, def a question to ask, not an issue imo just like to hear a answer

Don't think it has aircon either......no biggie really but just wrong colour, wrong wheels and no AC.

It's still tempting, especially with that mileage....

Paragon has one listed - white for £42k.

Got my 996 GT3 from them and have been very pleased with the car, their prep. and one follow-up warranty item.
