Its actually called Carrara white (pedantic), rather than the 911 namesake - it was a standard colour offered on the Cayman R and later cars can have the same colour in metallic or pearlescent I believe.

I think the paint code is B4 as opposed to 0Q for white. Its a very bright white, makes my Diamond White XR2 look almost cream in colour even though it's just been painted.

I know mate. Perhaps my post wasn't adequately dripping in sarcasm smilies.....

ahh...oh yeah....

Forgive me, my ability to recognise sarcasm before i've had my morning coffee is relatively weak.

Best for everybody if I get my coat and pop to Pret right away

No, but PSE deletes the R specific black tailpipe

Horses for courses, I'm going with a Carnewal on mine for best of both worlds smile

Saw three Rs yesterday - white on the M20, black just off the A217 and Blue heading into town on the A3.

They do look good, the blue particularly.

Whereabouts on the A217? That might have been me! Followed the Mrs into Epsom yesterday. Thought the CR M235i combo made a great convoy! Particularly enjoyed the noise when we started up to leave!

Not entirely sure - I was cutting across from the A217 to the A3, and it turned right just by the Audi dealer.

Definitely me. You're talking about the Drift Bridge Audi garage, which is the route we usually take to get to Epsom and back.
