nothing like putting your cards on the table as a 15 day old member.
Why did you join up again ? to try and pick fights ? I do have an image of you already, this might help lol

Well I'll tell you why I didn't join - to have to tolerate trolls such as you. As I recall you started the argument by inferring that anyone who didn't agree with you were "daft". On my regular car forum - where I have been a member for 11years, (rennteam.com) you would have been thrown out very quickly. Why did you join up again ? to try and pick fights ? The length of time I've been a member here is entirely irrelevant. But I note you are now reduced to insults. And I also note that other members here are also apparently failing to take you seriously.

Mr D/GT4, dreamcar makes a good point. Many on here do not share your viewpoint on some matters, but remain courteous. So anyone here absolutely guaranteed a car?

when am I ever not courteous ? :-)So anyone here absolutely guaranteed a car?
yes I have my opinionated views, but when do I ever lash out ? not very often, only trolling going on here is Mr new member who has not even got a deposit on a GT4 I bet.
That's it for me today though the guys wind me up, may be that was his Intent, and if so if succeeded in me not posting again today.
I still thing the guy must be over 50 to act this way as a new member, so £20 to here if I am wrong

So now my age is an issue? Seems to me even more irrelevant to how long I've been a member? I would have thought maturity preferable to immaturity? You really are now desperately clutching at straws to make some kind of point, whatever that may be. Symptomatic of a lost argument?yes I have my opinionated views, but when do I ever lash out ? not very often, only trolling going on here is Mr new member who has not even got a deposit on a GT4 I bet.

I know we're only a week or so away but I am losing patience! I want answers, dammit!
As for the ongoing set-up arguments... I think it is fair to say that how Porsche deliver the car is highly unlikely to be optimal for each indvidual's use.
Modify it if you choose, I am sure the guys from Zuff won't take it personally!
PCCBs and deviated stitching for me (if I get allocation/ like the spec/ price) - Hate away!

Let's look on the bright side we can spend a whole day extolling the virtues of 18 way seats, positive camber, green stitching, being over 50, automatic gearboxes and much else. I still thing the guy must be over 50 to act this way as a new member, so £20 to here if I am wrong

We all have a clear choice - we either pop round to MrD's house, stroke and lick his cars and beg him to tell us about his geo settings; or we can just accept what sad losers we are for driving with The Stock Geo of Doom.I don't need the geo changed because I don't drive flat out (shameful, I know).

Not wishing to be the fun police but... Can we try and keep it on topic, chaps?
There should be some good info appearing on this thread over the next few days and these threads get derailed so easily!
I doubt 'my' car will see the track more than say a couple of times a year so I'll certainly be looking for a good 'road' spec.
That means PCCBs and probably standard geo (to start with) as I get used to the car.
I'd like buckets but I am not sure about a cage and extinguisher, if that's what's included in CS spec. Will be interesting to see what options are offered!
Less than 1,300kg sounds very interesting though I assume that would be 'dry'.

I've been told I'm definitely going to get one, but I guess until they actually ask you to confirm spec and give you a build date then nobody is. I know someone who put down a 15k deposit for a gt3 and then Porsche cancelled the run and he never got it!

Agree with what your saying about threads like these getting de-railed and the common denominator is always a certain poster, i wonder what names he under this week? There should be some good info appearing on this thread over the next few days and these threads get derailed so easily!

But cmoose has been quiet, lately There are bigger problems in the world... Someone may be getting bumped up the list at Guildford OPC as I have just been told we are shedding 50% of our workforce from April 1st and I am not staff and not cheap! Bad timing on the GT4 front... Groan!
