that spec looks like it comes to £71485 so not much premium really. Makes you think why they would bother at such a small margin
£3500 profit on an investment of £5000 for less than 6 months might not be quite a Wonga rate of return, but it sure beats building society rates.
Maybe they also have a few to sell.

Shocking - I hope the OPC supplying recognises the dealer "Mark" on that mobile number and cancels his slot in favour of a real customer.

That said some interesting comments regarding the confidence in the 250 cars and the fact this particular order will go spec fixed very soon, but that could all be just sales pitch.

And that's quoted as an OTR price as well, which means there is even less of a mark-up (as I understand it)... Maybe they are just advertising it for some publicity?

How would this work though? The guy selling it would pay for the car in full and then the new buyer would pay for it immediately after? Or does the new buyer effectively 'buy the deposit/ slot' off the seller and pay Porsche the balance directly?

it would be such a shame if a portion of the allocation goes to dealers looking for a profit instead of enthusiasts who who would enjoy the car.

Agreed, I would be happy to sign a binding contract staing that if i sold within first 6 months it has to be back to the dealer only and at equal or less than the orginal invoice price. Probably not legally enforceable, but a good idea non the less.

Opps quite right - another £477 for PDLS, so £70911 + £915 tax = £71826 = £3169 profit?

Would imagine that they could void warranty where there is a change of ownership within 6m unless a dealer handles the transaction

On the basis that if you don't agree to be bound by it, you ain't allowed to buy it. Easy.

It would sort out the speculators from the real customers who want the car to drive and enjoy.
