When I was 14 I would have thought artificial exhaust pops and bangs were really awesomely cool.

I grew up.

Genuine apology : I got here from "Whats New" and missed it being in the Porsche section.

It's your sub-forum : enjoy your cars, pops bangs and all. biggrin

If this was General Gassing I would feel obliged to keep disagreeing, but it isn't, and I won't.

So I think I found a new stage on the PSE today, (i've now covered 5k miles) - after pressing on for about 10mins and in the weekend heat, I found if you take the car up to the limiter (or just before) and then lift off the throttle, in addition to the normal overrun back note, today I was consistently get 'shot gun' noises in the first 1-2 seconds of lift off.

Sounded epic and haven't had that before despite running the car at pace and repeating. Wondered if anyone else has noticed this yet? And is this something i've just stumbled across now by chance, or is this not there for others yet...

Or of course the exhaust is falling apart already! laugh
