Sorry, don't like it, looks tacky, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Indeed...but we're talking about a Porsche GT not a Mercedes saloon which is what it looks like when it's all grey.

All imho smile

Each to their own but I find it looks horrid and tacky...

That's a lovely spec.

The lower image you posted is probably the closest to Mexico. Here are some more natural pics:

I'll be putting in the final spec for my car hopefully this month for a November build. Am I right in thinking that PTS is no longer an option? Otherwise I think it's going to be guards/platinum wheels.

Mine is November build and my PTS order placed last Tuesday was revoked on Friday. So no PTS unfortunately.

Quite liking Carmine having seen a Cayman at OPC in it. Definite improvement over Guards to my eyes.

Thanks. Interesting puzzle trying to get the final spec right especially with no physical cars to see/compare.

Tell me about it!!

My revised spec is likely to be Carrara with Satin Black wheels, painted interior trim (of course), to doors/dash/console, full leather and the CS pack.

Carmine with Satin Black is a very close second at the moment.

I had Carmine with the platinum wheels on a GTS and it really suited the car IMHO.

Love the colour. The main thing holding me back is that I'm not sure it's special enough to warrant the extra cost especially as I'd want it with Satin Black wheels.

It is silly money really but it is a far deeper shade of red than Guards when you put the two side by side. The callipers were Guards and you can see the difference in this photo.

I agree. Guards is a classic colour but for me Carmine is way more classy. I'd always dismissed it until going out of my way to find a car in that colour at my OPC.

Wow. very brave. quite like the idea of the dials belts matching etc.., but vents is a step to far for me. They border on tack or ostentatious depending on who's eyes for me

That does look rather nice in the contexts of the 'grey' surroundings. Here are some more of the same car:

I'd prefer sat plat wheel rather than the invisible black ones, but that looks superb.

Reds the winner there for me. The black wheels set it all off nicely with the large callipers

Guards looks good in pics, never looks quite as good in the flesh (to me).
