For what it is worth when I saw the press launch cars in the flesh the two that stood out and suited the car the best were Yellow (for a track car) or Sapphire Blue for a grown up looking road car. - imho of course !! The platinum wheels looked great too.

What colour blue is this 997.2 GT3 RS?

I think weiss gold wheels would work with the Sapphire Blue GT4.

Nice looks good with the Cayman R sticker. ( his front section looks a tad high though)

Very tempted to go for that look but with yellow inside and PCCB.
Seems crazy people are getting them and I had my name in very early and still only have a sept build slot plus 10 week delay, been over 12 months since I ordered one !

He does mention it's the CR sticker. Can you get in other colours?

Not a GT4, but a shot of a Cayman in Dark Blue Metallic with the sun on it :-

Is it a good GT4 colour? Answers on a postcard to Jody, BBC Plop Gear, London etc...

I have had my name down for nearly 18 months, paid my deposit when the dealer wanted it but still only getting a Sept. build slot so won't get it till Oct just in time for Winter, may get a couple of late trackdays out of it but none of this makes any sense

Spoke to dealer yesterday who said he had spoken to porsche and they insisted any car with buckets with a build after April will be subject to the delay.
He also said if I swapped to non buckets they will actually bump your order forward ,obviously the vast majority have been ordered with buckets .
So at the moment my 'July ' build will be arriving around October

Mine still showing a June completion date! God knows when I'll actually get it though...

Such a personal thing, but I've spent a coup,e of afternoons down at the opc looking closely at the colors (on various 991s,boxsters and caymans) and the sapphire blue really is the best colour porsche do at the moment imo.

Much as I love the Sapphire Blue, I think white works best on the GT4.

The yellow is just too loud and in your face. All IMO.

That said. I don't think the black wheels and blue car works.

Would be nice to see weiss gold wheels on a blue car.

That yellow is hideous - like a puss filled boil.

The blue really suits the car.
