Good rant, but retain Guards red.
Well ok, but we'll reduce the cost of Carmine and make it metallic. We'll also offer gloss black for the wheels. Job done. Oh wait, we need to add a new menacing darker grey to augment Agate, a darker blue than Sapphire, but lighter than DBM and a few others...

Trinny.

that looks better than the guards red I have seen on a 981 cayman!
Guards red has this strange property of looking fantastic under the lights in the showroom or on a brilliant summer day in the sun. But to my mind starts to look a bit 'washy' in everyday situations on the street. Was my choice at first but i've changed. But I agree that the colour choices across the range need to be rejuvenated!

Does it matter whether it is a 'GTS' colour? I've seen it on Boxster + Cayman GTS and it looks fantastic with satin black wheels. The reason it is 'not a GT4 colour' is perhaps because we haven't 'touched' one yet in that colour scheme. It will look fantastic in that combo.

However, Porsche should really delete Guards and change to Carmine and delete Rhodium and change to GT Silver, stop charging extra for these, and add at least a few new free decent colours to the available palette. It's so hard to choose from the current default set because they are so boring.

Rant off!
Very well put and completely agree GaryF.

I'm set with carmine and satin, am slightly bitter about the additional cost, but looks so good 😎 November build...cannot wait

Very true M, am going GR with satin platinum wheels on mine. Looks like it may be the 'new' white. Did think about yellow but way too shouty for me, at least. GR shouty enough, no extra cost and a proper GTcolour! GR is also one of the 'best' colours on the 991 GT3 RS......all imho of cours....thumbup

Satin black or satin platinum?

Personally I think the black suits carmine perfectly. I'll probably end up going CWM with satin black.

I am thinking of changing my colour again and I would be grateful if I could have some responses to allow me to guage what peoples thoughts are.

I currently have saphire blue with leather and the platinum stitch selected but I am seriously considering changing this to Racing yellow with the yellow stitch. Your feedback will be apreciated!

Safe choice - rest of the spec? Wheels, carbon inside, seats

are you saying that the yellow is a safe spec??

Rest of spec is;

platinum wheels,
folding bucket seats
sports chrono
full leather plus other bits and bobs

For me Sapphire looks a little washed out in daylight although I'm not a massive fan of Racing Yellow either. Racing Yellow does seem a popular and safe choice though.

Why folding and not full buckets?

Not sure there's great value in sport chrono.

Both are popular colours, so will be fine on resale if you're worried about that, otherwise choose what you want.

Which colour has been the most popular PTS?
