t about it all evening!)For those picking between Guards and Carmine, I was at PEC yesterday and saw both colours in a variety of lighting conditions, sunny and cloudy.
With an iPhone it's hard to get the colours right in photos.
I was expecting to prefer Carmine over Guards but didn't feel that way at all. I tried to imagine both colours were the same cost and which would I pick, and I would choose Guards Red surprisingly.
Carmine looked too dark/murky to me. Carmine looks more like colours from another car brand somehow to me, and this red clashed with the yellow of the calipers and number plate to my eyes.

- Full bucket seats (these may delay delivery according to the dealer)

- Rear wing supports in black
- Bi-xenons with PDLS

- Red stitching
- Smoking package (i don't smoke but i prefer the look of the console with this)
- Footwell net
- Extinguisher
- Guards red belts
- Storage compartment lid with 'Porsche' logo
- Carbon interior package
- Carbon centre console
- PCM
- Sound pack plus
- Mobile prep
- Digital radio
I would like to have the Porsche decals on the bonnet and doors fitted.
Can't wait!

I was told this as well,but had a call from dealer yesterday confirming my build had no (further delays)delay,despite the fixed buckets.Bear in mind when we were told originally you couldnt have sapphire/carmine or the buckets ..european buyers doid not have this issue and were able to order what they wanted.
I wanted a rare colour, every one was ordering a Blue and normal Caymans seem to be a lot of blues, then I saw a 991 GTS in mexico and it put me off, looks great on older cars not the newer ones imo. I just felt uneasy with it.
I should have gone slate grey or Viper, but my cars been locked for ages, was hassle getting the blue off.
any way £2.8k better off for it :-)
viper was the colour missed just did not want another green car but in hindsite a mistake. esp for resale value of which we all think about these days

Plus yellow stitching looks the bomb :-)
