I am going cwm but cannot make my mind upon platinum or silver wheels!
I don't think silver goes well with white, so I'd opt for platinum wheels. Also, not sure what the white was on the CR/Spyder (you'll know), but if it was flat, I'd stick with that, the colour worked really well.mdianuk said:

So that left me with cwm which is an interesting colour in different light for a white car and whiter and brighter than flat carrara white

Not a lover of DBM its a blue again, silver does look nice but again not so sure !I have looked at a lot of 981 Cayman in the flesh to get an idea because as we know what works on one model doesn't work on another.
Interestingly when I showed my 28 yo son cwm with silver/ platinum wheels he thought the silver wheeled car looked better!

that's interesting. I have an October build. Spoke to dealer yesterday and he says that he has not yet had a build date to know exactly when in October and my spec is also not locked in yet.
Should I be worried??
I have had a build date for months.Should I be worried??
I doubt you have a Oct build if the dealer has no date yet.
Found this site which actually shows some of the colours with the codes, not sure it contains all currently available colours though.

The problem I have with flat white (carrara white) is that on the gt4 at the pec it didn't look great but it did have those nasty Matt black wheels which imo didn't help!Although the spyder worked well in carrara white the Cayman R didn't and as I said before colours work better on different cars and without seeing gt4 in the flesh it's hard to make a choice by other models the only car to go on is the 981 Cayman but that has no rear spoiler or side scoops. For example a 997.2 in white does not look as good as a 997.2 gt3 in white and basalt black is the other way round.
