I get loads of st for saying DMB and silver are a bit dull for a GT car lol
and here we have, to quote:
"As for DBM, DON'T DO IT!!!!!
With a title light dusting of Midlands grime, and a dull day, it'll look like a piece of s**t."
not sure why I get the hassle from my very tame comments vs what most other people seem to post lol

As for "*no*" being wild, I'm not sure why you'd think that?
Is GT Silver wrong for a GT car?
Here's the proof, only available in Silver: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/aston-martin/news/...

Because most put across an opinion, you generally put it across as fact, even highlighting FACT at times. Most of it probably comes down to how you rub most contributors up the wrong way...they even speak of you at track days, but not in a good way! Anyway, have you actually sold the GT4 then, or just proving a case in point?and here we have, to quote:

Thanks Phooey. Stick some black alloys on that and it would be even blacker / better.
The little Youtube vid I posted shows one in the All Black Stealth Attack form.
How much more black could it be?... None. None more black
I've gone for jet black with black wheels and PCCBs - I'm a fan of the stealth look. I collect it in a week or so once it's been detailed and protected at Topaz. I'll post some photos on collection The little Youtube vid I posted shows one in the All Black Stealth Attack form.

Great! Look forward to those. It's what I've eventually arrived at (minus the fancy brakes).mdianuk said:
No idea where this GR looks pink nonsense is from; messed up eyes in your family?
Granted, it has a little bit of a orange/salmon hue when dirty and certain lights, but not pink!
Try Googling "Porsche Guards Red Pink"? Mostly this seems to be an issue with older paintwork.Granted, it has a little bit of a orange/salmon hue when dirty and certain lights, but not pink!
It's not my family. My brother in law saw it... eventually; his friends; the chap who sold me my Cayman... then me!
Until you see it yourself, you'll never be a "believer"!

I agree with you totally, there is not the slightest hint of any shade of pink in guards red.My guards red GT4 was sitting outside my house today in the pouring rain under grey skies, and it still looked stunning.Definitely the best colour for the GT4 in sombre UK light.Granted, it has a little bit of a orange/salmon hue when dirty and certain lights, but not pink!
All i can say is that anyone who sees pink in guards red must see the world through rose tinted glasses

Though he must have sofened slightly and decided to spec the smokers pack. A nice Hamlet to relax perhaps after lapping the ring...
Here, Phooey, have you specced the smokers pack?
