It literally couldn't have turned out any better, building on the confgurator 1million Times and agonising over guards and carmine...... I actually have a lot to thank my girlfriend for, sticking with carmine was the best decision it really glows and looks mega special????

When I saw one at Solihull OPC I immediately thought "lipstick" as it's that deep red colour. No wonder she liked it! Great choice.Pics are taken from a phone
There was a GR Cayman next to it which looked "washed out" in comparison.

I think it's one of the best colours, looks mega.
not many ordered in it either, win win.
I'm not spoiling for an argument here, but I remember when I said I thought it looked good in Carmine you said it shouldn't be done as it was a GTS colour! I guess we can all change our views not many ordered in it either, win win.
Looks great and even better with the black alloys - enjoy. As requested already, more pics outside please.

Hey Gary, it wasn't me that said that, I remember the comment well and it was ringing in my head until I pulled the cover off my car, I don't believe any car has the right to hold a colour, otherwise all red cars would have to be ferraris 🚗 And that would just be wrong.Looks great and even better with the black alloys - enjoy. Yes, many more pictures please! Don't suppose you are anywhere near Cheshire, would love to see the colour in the flesh, still deciding myself.
Unfortunately I'm quite far from Cheshire, I'm at the bottom of the M25 in Surrey though very welcome to take a look...Out side on a grey day next to guards for reference

"I think Carmine with silver stitching would look cool"
and it turns out it does ;-)
it's one of the best colours for the car now carmine red, is pure class.

No worries, more pics then, it looks absolutely amazing. What interior colours did you go for? Wondering if the red stitching still works with this, or platinum silver would be more sensible.Out side on a grey day next to guards for reference
It also has the red, stitching, belts, pulls and brakes.... My worry was alsquashed upon collection, it looks perfect!!! No clash or concern.
All in my personal opinion though...... But I am a perfectionist so that has to come into it
I wish I could have seen one before I ticked the boxes just to relieve the stress of it, but it's been sweet knowing it's all worked out

That's reassuring to know. Tried emailing you but you have it disabled. Any chance you can email me a few detailed shots of the car, especially with both the body paint and internal stitching in shot (huge ask I know!). I assume the stitching is slightly lighter, but doesn't sound like it is a noticeable enough difference to not work? All in my personal opinion though...... I can't decide on platinum of satin black wheels on a GR car. I'm there with the rest of the spec but this is my final hurdle!
Both work really well on GR, so personally I'd pick based on which wheels your prefer the colour of in their own right. For me, I prefer the black.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
