I'm not spoiling for an argument here, but I remember when I said I thought it looked good in Carmine you said it shouldn't be done as it was a GTS colour! .
but take a look at page 1 on this very thread back in March :-pto quote me
"I think Carmine with silver stitching would look cool"
and it turns out it does ;-)
it's one of the best colours for the car now carmine red, is pure class.
Tell me about the apple. Have you noticed any perceptible change in downforce since having it fitted? Granted you are probably still keeping the revs down whilst running in, so may be too early to tell.
I'd think that a pair of pink laydees on the back may be even better, but interested in your experiences.
I've seen other advice on here advocating putting a tin of beans on the bonnet. I'm no aerodynamicist, but I don't see how that can improve downforce at the front. Not without two slices of toast at any rate.

I can't decide on platinum of satin black wheels on a GR car. I'm there with the rest of the spec but this is my final hurdle!
My preference is the black as they give it a bit more attitude an toughen it up a bit.I went to see a GR one (photos in the colours thread) and it had the standard platinum rims. Left thinking that the black would have been my choice..
Every shot I've seen with black wheels on any colour (inc. DBM & Sapphire) I've thought they look good. What that says about me, I don't know. Perhaps my judgement is not to be trusted!

Both work really well on GR, so personally I'd pick based on which wheels your prefer the colour of in their own right. For me, I prefer the black.
He knows nothing, will probably end up with a Macadamia Brown GT4 just to be different....;)
Platinum wheels look great, stand out from the tyres and are little more subtle than black.

That's reassuring to know. Tried emailing you but you have it disabled. Any chance you can email me a few detailed shots of the car, especially with both the body paint and internal stitching in shot (huge ask I know!). I assume the stitching is slightly lighter, but doesn't sound like it is a noticeable enough difference to not work?

Interested in people's views on the RS-inspired scoops & wing tips (photoshopped) vs original pic below ? Too much or improvement?
I think it looks tastefully better with black scoops and wing tips. I was looking and thinking about the mirrors as well, but I think the mirrors would be to much. I'd also add a P O R S C H E decal across the rear spoiler (there is another thread going discussing where to get them )

Prefer the standard scoop. Although I am edging towards the side decal. [Original pic courtesy of Per Magnusson]
