I've gone blue, the Gt silver is disappointing in photos ,maybe better in flesh. The yellow is horrible.
As they say 'each to their own'.... I love the Yellow J12KJR said:
Not that I am going to be speccing one up but the yellow looks great when I see it in pictures of the Boxster and Cayman but whenever I see one in the metal it never seems as crisp and bright. Do they do different versions or is it the photos being touched up?
I think the current yellow really pops - even in the UK; unlike Speed Yellow, which I know has it's fans, but think looks mustardy out of the showroom and away from strong California sunshineTrikster said:

Do we know if this is flat white or the metallic Carrara White?
The way the sun is reflecting off the top of the rear arch looks like it could be metallic (though may not be).
I'd love Riviera Blue with satin black rims after seeing the Riviera GTS on the GTS thread.
I've been told colour to sample might be possible.... to be confirmed. The way the sun is reflecting off the top of the rear arch looks like it could be metallic (though may not be).

I think it may be worth it. None of the standard colours are really that appealing (to me).My current spec is recorded as Dark Blue Metallic with satin black alloys. Plenty of time to change (if indeed I actually get a car in 2016). I now think the darker colours are not the way to go on the GT4 and if I had to choose a standard one it may well be Sapphire Blue.
I saw dark blue met on a 911 last week and it is actually a bit sombre without bright sun on it. Agate Grey was another option but I think I've gone off that now too. There is a local Carmine Red CGTS that doesn't quite do it either for the money and if PTS was available it may be worth it for soemthing extra-special to hold on to.
I spent £1,850 on fancy TVR paint 10 years ago and I still haven't tired of that, so maybe PTS is the answer to get something you really like.
