Chris - remember pax'ing with you at a very wet Spa, getting spat out of Radillion backwards, and then travelling on the wet grass parallel to the wall on the left for what seemed like an eternity. How we didn't make contact I don't know. The maritime gods were looking down on us that day. Good to hear you are enjoying the GT4.
Ben.
Quite ... it is engraved on my memory Ben.
I remember looking out of your side window and asking you how far off the wall we were --- I can't remember if you replied.
But I do remember deciding that we were in a shopping trolley with the wheels at the back and very gently steering the rear end of the car off the grass --- as soon as the rears gained traction the car then spun through 180 degrees so that we were facing forwards --- and because I'd dipped the clutch the engine was still spinning and I dropped it into second and drove off the tragically wet grass --- and away.
Do you remember the grass and mud all along the car, and people asking me back at the pit garages why I was washing it
I think I was shell shocked and trying to wash away the trauma .....
But you seemed very brave and composed ..... ?? !
How is the 3.8 ?

I stopped at Roman's earlier to get a look at the GT Silver Spyder now that they have moved it outdoors. I am SO happy to have changed from Agate to GT. it looks fantastic- definitely a dark silver, but rich and shows the lines of the car really well. It's almost a liquid metal finish in terms of how it looks and it also goes very well with the platinum wheels so should look fantastic on the '4'. Personally, I can't stand black wheels.
Best iPhone photos I can manage. No filters or HDR. Overcast day about 15:30. If anything, it's looks darker than the pictures.

I want this car..... Trying to work out how I can justify it financially with the GT4 due any day now!!!!!
If I sell the wife's Range Rover it would be easy.... Unfortunately nowhere for the kids and dog..... Still working on that bit.

I remember this being for sale on PH a couple of years ago. From memory less than £40K. Wish I'd bought it...
Yep , I think you may find the odd thread on here about that sort of thing . I have to say they are very pretty things , but in truth not in Mint - I prefer them in a more trad colour and in the Turbo variety - 964 RS , doesn't do it for me in the looks department - however rumour has it that they are quite good Edited by RSVP911 on Sunday 31st January 08:37
