I'm going yellow and was convinced that I would go with Black wheels too, until I saw both options in the flesh at Geneva. I will now be speccing the std Titanium wheels!
This is one of the pictures I took whilst I was there:
Good pic! I must admit they do look rather good. This is one of the pictures I took whilst I was there:

Red & black looks great. I think it is Carmine rather than standard Guards as you say Phooey.
Some of the latter yellow shots look a little pallad. Strange how it can look totally bright banana in one shot and then pale in the next. One to be viewed in the metal before commiting to a lasting relationship.
I'm confident that's Carmine. But, do i like it enough to spend £1500.... Some of the latter yellow shots look a little pallad. Strange how it can look totally bright banana in one shot and then pale in the next. One to be viewed in the metal before commiting to a lasting relationship.
I also agree re yellow looking different in the pics - some days i like it... some days i'm not sure. Missus doesn't like it. Definitely needs to be viewed (the car, not the missus)
I think i'm back to Sapphire Blue...
...probably still end up going 'safe' white though

Here's my current preference and thoughts:
1) Jet Black Metallic - but will it hide the lines?
2) Agate Grey - love it on a GT3, but is it too dull on a GT4? Does it suit it? Will it look too bland with the platinum wheels?
3) White - if I go this route, I really want Carrara (but currently not available). Is flat ok?
4) Sapphire - not available. Quite striking but I really don't like older GT3s in this kind of blue - does it make it look a bit toy like?
5) GT Silver - do you really need this with black wheels? Is it a bit safe and boring?

Wow....this combo wasn't anywhere near the radar....but that looks epic! You may have just complicated things for me! Problem I have is that I think the wheels look their best in the standard platinum, but some paint options really need satin black wheels, which I think hides how beautiful these wheels are...
Dark blue with standard wheels look's great - Sapphire looks better with dark wheels imo -

Phooey - got it! Love it! Sticking with it! Thanks!
Even though I was advised that one should not mix navy with black (in a fashion context) I like the blue with black wheels is rather coolio.
All black was the other contender, but DBM has it
Looks cool in DBM mate!Even though I was advised that one should not mix navy with black (in a fashion context) I like the blue with black wheels is rather coolio.

I have to admit - DBM was my least favorite colour, and if you check on the CaymanGT4.forum ( http://www.caymangt4.com/forum/cayman-gt4-forum-aa... ) - it seems it's also most peoples least fave.
After seeing them proper pics of it, It's now near the top of my list. I might have to have it
