This is really superb!
Guards Red looks great in pics and indoor show rooms, out side in real life it seems to loose some thing ;-(most camera's saturate RED in pics and also indoors they always look stuning.
I cannot put my finger on guards red in real life outside but not for me.

I don't like any of these blue's, don't think they do the car justice
when you see one in real life they do pop, pics don't do them any favors imo.I am banging my head though as I think Yellow looks great and is free, but yellow has never resold well and the flies just all sit on it.
I wish CTS did not happen and too many people are ordering Mexcio and Voo Doo now !
I hate the dark colours on it though, but some love them all personal.

You have to stick eventually. I decided on Mexico when the car was launched (had a wrap lined up pre CTS) and sticking. I think all colours can look st at the wrong angle / light and pics don't show what the eye would see in person.
Stick with that ever you like I say. I am sticking Mexico despite some lovely other colours (mostly the greens, oranges and purples)
One thing I would say is Vodoo flat or metallic? First blue (dark blue metallic) car we had have in our house is the wife's golf R. As she chose the colour of that she chose Lapis Blue, I wanted white. Looks awesome in certain lights really dark and almost purple like but Jesus Christ is it hard to maintain that paint. Shows every little mark and requires a regular machine polish.
I think you would regret not going for PTS of some kind - only colour I would personally avoid is yellow

You are right about that but then again, in the right light it looks great!

Agreed plus all these s posting so many lovely colours its like having a fit bird on your arm when you are younger thinking she's perfect that's me sorted. Then another walks past and you say actually I prefer that one!

VOO DOO is flat, but I have a blue ST metalic and that is very very hard to keep looking good, I might stay Mexcio as I don't want it to be like my Fiesta lolYou have to stick eventually. DBM with black wheels and yellow calipers works v well. Im starting to think black may be a tad dull
I am going for DBM, with PCCB's, but the standard platinum wheels - think it looks nicely restrained and classy. not really into bright shouty colours, on a bright shouty car...seawise said:

There's something about replicating the launch cars colours that i like...

To me - the standard 'platinum' wheels look better on the DBM and Black cars. Dark exterior - platinum rims. Light exterior - black rims. I also think the yellow calipers look much better with DBM - don't like the red with DBM.

agree, I was quite taken with the yellow car on display at the PEC last week, but not enough to change my order again. also you are right about launch spec/colours, for the long term that has a value as well (albeit a small one).I'd virtually settled on (order & spec submitted but not locked until roughly Aug/Sept) Jet Black Metallic with platinum rims and standard (red) brakes but still might go Yellow with platinum rims, bucket's, yellow stitching, CS (if available), carbon trim, standard brakes, PCM.
