I can imagine black looking really good but as always... a nightmare to keep clean!
+1 - and I'm not convinced the metallic is any better than the solid colour if you really want Black.

I can't make me mind up. I have a few weeks to decide (just got the call today of a car), but probably will. It's PCM i don't know if to have or not. I'm thinking white (with decals), Buckets, CS and PCM. Not bothering with leather / Alcantara packs.

You will have plenty of weeks if you spec CS and the buckets, 8 weeks delay plus the shut down in August means quarter 4 delivery... I've been told July with no buckets, and most probably October/Nov with them.

If you don't go for the 1.3k leather pack I fear that the dash and console are finished in that nasty textured plastic finish. You also miss out on leather on the door tops and swathes of alcantara along the underside of the dash and door bottoms. Should really be standard in a GT car, but then many things Porsche see as options should really be standard. You can avoid the additional expense of contrast stitching and stick with the grey.

I fear that I'd later regret not going for this leather / alcantara whilst sitting in some traffic jam idly pining for something soft to fondle. Probably wouldn't notice it though if you were doing some hot lapping of the Ring I suppose.

Phooey won't miss the leather - he's often seen lapping a ring.

I don't think black does the car any favours, certainly not in the pics.
Looks like any other Cayman in black.

Is Carmine available?

Black. Black. Blacker than black. Give me Black.

"How much more Black could it be?".

A car like the GT4 needs the colour turning up to 11.

I was in Osnabruck factory last Friday and of all the colours on the line, I would choose GT Silver Metallic, were I lucky enough to have one on order.
