Anyone else going carmine?
Satin Black alloys with the Carmine could be good? Did you see the pics earlier in the thread with the standard alloys?
I've seen a CGTS in Carmine/black and it was pretty. Shame it is so much extra cost, but I think it could turn out to be quite an exclusive colour. Which is good - no one else on here has put their hand up anyway. PTS now that it is available has caused some divergence from the standard palette

great colour but pretty much a GTS colour on Caymans, Boxsters and the 991 GTS, so put me off it.Did you see the pics earlier in the thread with the standard alloys?

still think Yellow is hard to beat, Porsche know how to launch a car/colour.
I would have 100% gone green but I own a green car.

I was looking for pictures of Carmine Red the other day as I was interested. However most of the pictures available, for all colours, are very processed so it's difficult to judge. Porsche had lots of cars at the Goodwood moving motor show the same colour. Can anyone confirm whether that was Carmine red or not?Did you see the pics earlier in the thread with the standard alloys?

Here's a decent vid of Carmine Red Cayman GTS v Carmine Red Boxster GTS. May help determine it it is a possibility :-

Thanks for that Gary. Think it is the same colour as at Goodwood, and it looked pretty flat there. I think that's off my list again.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilNqStfWwYQ
One more for comparative purposes - Guards Red GT4 v Carmine Red 991 GTS :-

But of course, Dark Blue and Black are considered by the majority to be the best colours.
NB. None of the above may be true. It is not a one-size-fits-all choice and that's even before the seating options have been discussed. Again.

Are you saying we might be going round and round in circles?NB. None of the above may be true. It is not a one-size-fits-all choice and that's even before the seating options have been discussed. Again.

Yes But there is no harm in that. Not much to discuss as regards driving dynamics yet anyway so lets continue to talk girlie chat about colours and which bag matches the shoes, which seat belt matches the calipers, which seat is best for the larger laydee etc. All good fun really.
Sure what else is there to do? Maybe put a deposit on the new TVR and speculate on what it will actually be, never mind what colour you would like it to be.
Mind, you won't find any caliper colour chat over there. It's hardcore decatting and LS7ening, and making up words like that. Great stuff altogether this PHing babble.

I have always wanted a red porsche, I think this is the car to pull it off, the carmine red is just preferable to me after comparing with Guards.
I have looked in a showrooms and further at Goodwood, the Carmine GTS Targa parked next to the boxster Spyder in the supercar paddock and in the moving motorshow all the cars on the Porsche stand I'm sure were Carmine and looked pretty special in the flesh?
Its a nightmare Porsche have it as a cost option!!! Yes this may give me some exclusivity as it appears nobody is owning up to going for carmine on here but ideally would love to see one before my spec locks in a few months...
Choosing a colour has been ridiculously hard for this car as they all look so good, not so sure on the yellow for me I'm afraid??

Big fan of Agate (in the flesh) but not sure it'd look as good on GT4. Still like DBM but would want PCCB's with it. Red looks very 'sporty' and a nice tried and tested classic colour. Sapphire was stunning on a 991 GTS i saw. White looks cool, shows the shape well, but already got a white car. Rhodium looks a bit 'cheap'. PTS not doing it for me. Which brings me to....
GT Silver. Classic GT colour and looks good on any GT Porsche imo. It's £1500 though.
