Previous 996 owner looking at an early boxster:

Looked at one today and noticed that with the roof down I couldn't fully close the windows. Normal or not? (I know they drop to put the roof down but they wouldn't close by using the switches once it was down)

Grateful for any observations

The windows should wind up on the switch when the roof operation has finished.

Thanks, that was my thinking. Any thoughts on what might be at fault?

Sorry, off topic I know, but could you fit me in for a dry cut anytime tomorrow?

I can fit you in Mollytherocker. Pop in around tea time for a giggle en a gossip. Would you like me to take some off the back while your here sir? You'r 80's mullet is looking a bit dated en weighty toots.

Your looking a bit arse heavy...

Now then Mr H6, can I interest you in a car designed from the outset that has the engine in the correct place that also didn't require a generation to perfect that handles better than a mullity looking 911.. (closet homosexuals)

Fast approaching classic status. This time next year good examples will be fetching obscene amounts of money for me.

For your pleasure sir... [url]

Thanks for the info chaps.. I've passed on that one - it had too many issues. Looking at a couple more this week smile
