There is not enough data to make any real conclusions, although it appears that in the US the most common R would be a Manual Peridot with Sports Seats. If you wanted light weight buckets, again it would most likely be a Peridot Manual.

Very very interesting.

I haven't given any information on my car yet... Where do I do this properly?

Would be great to get a proper sorted directory listing all the cars and variations.

seems pointless with 3 cars from UK on it.

low total number though of 1421 world wide.

It may be the time of year, but I can't currently see one Cayman R for sale priced at under £40k???

Similar numbers to my Turbo 3.6, which did well in value over the years.

Although there were not nearly as many RHD Turbo 3.6 cars as there are with R. The new owner of my car is one of approximately 40 in the UK.

I've just finished the 'Booster Cushion' mod...

Amazing the things you'll do for your dear beloved sometimes eh? Just to be clear though this is strictly for the passenger seat only.

The original cushion fits over the top, you wouldn't actually a stty blue piece of foam.

Who was after a Red R??

http://www.inchcapesignature.co.uk/used-cars/porsc...

I think this may be the same car that was at Redline in Yorkshire for about 6 months last year at £45k.........

I was looking at a different one. Bit high mileage for me. I went for an S with better spec in the end pickin up in the morning. Will more than likely have a try of an R at some point though.

That's the one. Please don't post a pic of it getting hauled off the nurburgring in flames biggrin

Picked up this morning its quite something. Pretty much like my old Z4M but with better steering and the suspension in normal mode is fantastic. Very impressed.
