Love the short shift on mine. Couldn't tell you which variant it is though. But it feels very mechanical, like cocking a rifle.Cheers
I haven't driven a CR (in a long time) to compare to a standard stick though.

lol you saw that vid posted of the GT3 just about taking that Spyder off the track and it was not even me, they got a roasting on here for acting like a **** on a track day.The how fast event is a single sprint 1 timed lap event, much safer than racing on a track day win at all costs !!!
Just be interesting to see Cmoose who gets paid to drive cars and JP post a time in their Caymans vs me posting a time in my Boxster.
ESP as they have much better choice mods, over my hairdressers car with my magazine regurgitated mods ;-)
I'll post May 3rd my time and see if the 2 guys will come along.
It's a fun event and I hold no bad feelings, and of course I expect to be the slowest ;-)

that to me is cringeworthy and adolescent, I have offered to pay for YOU (if you are faster) if you want to turn up to a UK timed sprint event for fun with one months notice !

Cmoose, it could well be he he not that bad IRL!My personal experience from several enthusiasts clubs is that a bit of bickering on the forums is quickly forgotten about once you both get a pint in your bellies and start sharing the enthusiasm you both clearly have for the Porsche Brand : - )

I find the forum personal abuse dull (and people who do it should be banned imo), but would like to see a lap time, me in my car vs you in yours on a fun event which is safe and timed.
I am a fair person, post a lap time lets see how good your are and how "s
t I am" is that a lot to ask ?had enough of keyboard warriors in 2014 and I sucked it all up, but in 2015 the best place to sort it out is a safe sprint event and see where people stand on driving skill and cars they own.
I think JP should also do it, now he has his choice mods fitted to his R.
again, if I am slowest I'll pay for both you're entry fee's. That's very fair imho.

Eh? Since when did I say, you were slow, a st driver, all the gear no idea or an IT nerd? Have a good look as I said none of these things. Also, I've never claimed to be some kind of driving God, so no idea where you picked this up from, in fact I said the exact opposite, i.e. I'm no driving God. I think you're confusing other people's comments with my own.
But I've never known anybody on this or any other forum that has annoyed so many people. It's not the fact that you present your opinions but the manner in which you engage. I actually told a newbie that you couldn't possibly be that much of a PITA IRL, and even you had to eventually apologise to him in that thread because your comments were considered rude. There's simply no need to be rude. You disagree with a point of view? Then just agree to disagree, it's simple, no need to insult them!

well there is a lot of talk and insults going on here, i have met Mr D and he is a nice chap. he is an enthusiast and passionate about his cars, after all who else do you know on here that has been chosen by Porsche to get a GT4. with his suspention mods on his Spyder and having PCCB it will take a very good driver and a special Cayman to beter his times.
